This 3 bedroom detached bungalow sleeps 6 guests and is situated within walking distance of Seagrove Bay and the desirable Seaview Village. The accommodation has two double bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower, twin bedroom and family bathroom. The spacious living room has ample seating and patio doors leading to the decking area and garden which is fully enclosed with garden furniture and BBQ.

Our favourite family holiday spot

For many years we have enjoyed lovely relaxing holidays at Solent View . It is a perfect location for us . As active grandparents we enjoy the company of our daughter, son in law and granddaughter here. There are plenty of coastal walks, swimming opportunities, crabbing pools and a great social atmosphere at Seaview. We always enjoy watching the boats, ferries, cruisers and yachts passing by in the Solent and there are super coffee spots and eateries within easy walking distance . The house is so well equipped we feel very comfortable cooking here and relaxing. We have enjoyed many fun evenings on the deck watching the sunsets. We make sure we rebook before we have even departed each year!

Lovely spacious bungalow, a little dated decor wise but clean and comfortable. Lovely sized garden to sit out in and for my dog to enjoy. Location was superb for walking to the beach, only 10 mins away and great for dog walking as dog friendly! Would recommend it.

Wonderful retreat

Solent View was a home from home with all we needed for our holiday. Its location was convenient for travel and there is a bus stop right outside. It’s a popular property with many returning year after year which says it all.

We enjoyed this property so much we have booked it again for 2024. It was very convenient for shopping, either the shop at the bottom of the road or a supermarket at Ryde. We have been told by Island Holiday Homes that the owners, after next year, will be stopping letting it to holiday makers which will be a shame but we are sure we will find somewhere comparable.

Would Stay Again

A clean, well presented home with a large, well-equipped kitchen. Light and airy with comfortable furnishings; having two large tables meant we could breakfast together in the kitchen and have an evening meal together in the lounge. The boiler stopped working Thursday morning (no hot water) so I followed the instructions to report a fault. It was resolved within an hour!! Alas, we didn't see any red squirrels in the garden! A Londis shop is literally 5 minutes walk away which is handy and the road and area is nice and quiet. We would certainly stay again.

5th time here so that says it all. This bungalow fits our needs perfectly, always immaculately clean but this year even more so, hand sanitizer on entry and plenty hand wash and cleaning supplies. Nice quiet location but not far from anywhere. We love the area, nice walks for the dog when he visited and already rebooked for next year

Fantastic Bungalow

I cannot fault the bungalow in any way. It was well cleaned, very well furnished and equipped and excellent value for money. It is in a very nice and quiet street that is about a 20 minute walk to the beach and it is also on the bus route. I highly recommend staying here.

A very relaxing holiday

We enjoyed our stay at Solent View, the location is excellent, so quiet and a great base for many of the attractions. The bungalow is spacious, clean & very comfortable, but be careful of the steps down to the bedrooms and in the hall which are not ideal for those with limited mobility - or those little trips in the night in the dark! The garden & decking are lovely, great if you take a dog (which we didn’t) and the neighbours are friendly. There is a small shop very close which was handy. All in all a great time which went too quick and definitely a property I would book again.

A wonderful stay

The house and location were excellent - far better than we imagined. Everything about the house and garden was perfect. We all had such a lovely stay and have booked already for next year. Our week was over far too quickly. Looking forward to next year.
