This new 75m2 1bedroom house with private pool on the 1250m2 property is a true paradise so conveniently located for your perfect stay. It is 10 min (6km) drive to Split city center and 3 min to Solin. So near to everything and still providing complete peace and privacy in the natural surrounding. Open layout house with 1 separate bedroom is perfect for families or groups of friends of up to 6 persons.
It has 1 bedroom, and another queen size bed in the living room that can be separated from the rest of the room if needed with the mobile room divider. Outdoor dining space with natural shade and barbecue facilities. Private parking in front of the house.
Within 500 m there are supermarket, cafe bar, butcher, green market, very good restaurants with local dalmatian cousin and reasonable prices.
Smoking on property is permitted only outside.
The villa is located in the quiet, scenic neighborhood named Ilijin Potok with the Ilija creek flowing just in front of the house. If you follow its walkway it will lead you to Solin in a few minutes.
Whether you want something on or off the beaten path you are on the right place. From here you can experience the true charm of everything that Dalmatia has to offer.. the rich history and archeology, great cousine, the rivers (one creek flows by the property), the mountains, the beaches and daily trips to the islands. And its all walking distance or within 5 to 20 min drive. The city of Split, its lovely sand or pebble beaches with the clear blue water, all the major sightseeing musts as well as buzzling streets and nightlife are just 6km, 10-15 min drive by car or bus!
The center of the more quiet town Solin and its archeological sites are just 0.5 to 1km away. Solin is the small town next to Split (have in mind that Croatia is not so densly populated so the Split itself as well as the other towns except Zagreb are rather small towns). The young families from Split are moving to settle down here while converting their properties in Split into turistic Apartments. The Ancient Roman city Salona was on this place. It was built by the river Jadro (one part of the city of Split still gets its drinking water from the 2000 year old stone aquaduct built by romans and it is fully functional and its here in Solin-real example of what sustainable means) and is very pitoresque and charming.
In the hot summer afternoon a stroll trough Solin among the shade of the trees on walkway of the riverbed to the one of the river beaches is the real refreshment and off the beaten path. As the sea beaches are near, these on the river are not so popular so maybe you will be the only tourist there. If you are board of the floaters in your pool take a walk. The ducks and swans floating on the river are just 5 min away. This is where you can experience the local people and their authentic dalmatian spirit and jokes. People sit on the benches and the walls, or freshwater fishermans cooling their drinks or even whole watermelons in the river, warmly greeting and chat with the pass by friends or neighbours.
