Magical little spot.
It’s an authentic little mid-1900’s cabin located in the backwoods of one of wyomings best hidey-hole towns. It has every amenity you could really need, but there’s nothing fancy. That’s the charm - It’s perfectly fitting to its surroundings. Drinking coffee in front of the creek was an absolute treat. Only thing I have to mention is that there was a single, very bold, little mouse. Though it doesn’t bug me, it could freak others out. (Just keep your stuff off the floor. You’re staying in a vintage guest cabin in the hills of wyoming, people - what do you expect? 😂) He’s there to clean up the crumbs after you make your breakfast - we named him Esteban.

Perfect Getaway
Our family of 4 really enjoyed this cozy, rustic cabin with so much family history & character! The setting surrounded by tall trees and running creek was peaceful and a great home base to explore the Bighorns. Friendly, responsive hosts and we felt very welcome. Hope to return again!

Cozy and Perfect
The property was a perfect retreat in the woods. We loved the wood fireplace and all the amenities of the house. The owners were friendly and when we had trouble with the hot water, they had no problem coming over and showing us what we were doing wrong. 😂

Amazing getaway
We loved our stay at the cabin, and we look forward to returning next year. This classic mountain cabin was built in the 40’s by the owner’s family. They even have the guest books all the way back to the beginning. They were a lot of fun to read through. The amenities are simple, humble, and perfectly appropriate for a very comfortable stay. We were here a week, and wanted to stay longer. The cabin sits right above one gorgeous stream, and a larger branch is a short walk behind the cabin. The sound of rushing water is constant and wonderful. When we first pulled in, we were a bit disappointed by a large house under construction, which is quite close to this cabin. We soon realized that the setup is such that you only really see it when you drive in and out, and the privacy you feel while at the cabin is perfect. The hosts were very friendly and responsive, and helpful with local tips and recommendations. We’ll be back soon!

Fantastic Cabin
Storybook Cottage was all we had hoped for. Beautiful scenery and the sound from the stream lured us to sleep at night. There was a white rabbit hoping around and my granddaughter loved it. Marilyn was fantastic to work with. We will be back!!!

Getaway Week with Spouse - Rustic Relaxation
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the rustic cabin. The sound of running water in the nearby creeks provided a wonderful aid to sleep and relaxation. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and an abundance of wildlife. Guest books provided some great clues for nearby adventures. We are looking forward to coming back.

Wonderful cabin in the Woods
We had a great time staying in this cabin! The cabin is 100% authentic and is decorated with antiques throughout! We had all the amenities we needed! The cabin is secluded from other homes and is very quiet and restful. My granddaughter loved the bridge the crossed the creek! We hope to return in the future and stay longer!
