Trethellan Cottage - thumbs up
Great property with everything you need for a short or long stay. The owners are spot on, always happy to help with suggestions of the local area but not in your face. Feeding the animals on the small holding is also a really enjoyable experience. The property is a little remote so you do have to travel to get to places but you know that before you book anyway. We had a great family holiday in the cottage for 2 weeks and would recommend.

Lovely location with for a quiet relaxing holiday
This is a lovely property that is comfortable whilst having a countryside style. There are secure private gardens that are small but where adequate for our dogs. The animals on site are lovely. We really enjoyed feeding them with Julia. Great experience.

Wunderbarer Familienurlaub in Cornwall

Trethellan Cottage is a very nice property situated in the countryside near the village of Lanner. We enjoyed our stay there very much. It was clean and provided everything you might need. There is an extensive DVD collection to watch at night and alpacas and goats for children to enjoy. The hosts, Iain and Julia, are very friendly and helpful and can give you many valuable tips concerning sights and restaurants. We would love to come back some day!

Amazing property, stunning location.
Comfortable and quiet in the fresh scented countryside air and pretty evening bird song of Cornwall. A great space to be in with a lot of room. The most practical attribute is, in Cornwall you’re never far away from anywhere in any direction. Being off the beaten track in Cornwall’s geography means you can never be too far off the beaten track. This is perfect. A quick trip into town, a quick trip down to St Ives, a quick trip to Mousehole or a quick trip to Lands End while popping into a vineyard on the way back with a couple of bottles of refreshing local wine. I hope to return for a longer break. There’s a lot to see and do and this cottage is where I want to do it from. It doesn’t get better than this.

Family man with 4 school-aged kids. Thoroughly enjoying running our family business with my hard-working wife Julia after spending too long in the rat-race. Love travelling - stayed in anything and everything from a tent to a 5 star hotel all over the world. Spent 3.5 years in Texas before moving here and loved every moment when I wasn't working. Still working on losing the trans-Atlantic accent.
