About this property

THE BYRE AT REEDSFORD - sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms near Wooler

Nestled in the foothills of the Cheviots, a step inside this delightful barn conversion will bring a stylish sense of home. Combine its tranquil location and big sky views and you begin to get a sense of place.

A stylish sense of home
Sensitively developed by the owners to respect the integrity of the building, original window features and stonework have been carefully used in its redevelopment.

A key feature of the living space is a wonderful arched window accented by industrial lighting and a contemporary colour scheme of charcoal greys and warm neutrals. Finishes from Colefax and Fowler and fantastic intricate needlework from the Fine Cell Work rehabilitation charity add a final flourish.

When the days grow longer and the appeal of some cosy time beckons, a wood burner is one of life’s simple pleasures. With a good book and a rich merlot, you could be forgiven if you never quite step out the door!

The living space benefits from underfloor heating throughout and the two en-suite bedrooms feature high quality White Company bed linen and a dash of artisan flair.

GROUND FLOOR
The property sits on the ground floor, however please note there are three steps from the main access hallway down to the main open plan living area and also steps from the patio to the garden.

Little piece of heaven
The cottage was immaculate everything you needed was there. Lovely secluded garden to sit out in the sunshine. Close enough to all Northumberland’s attractions but secluded enough to enjoy the nature that Northumberland has to offer. Would definitely stay there again.
