This 3 bedroom house is what Skye is all about. Dunhallin Ard is an old croft house that has been extended.
The open plan kitchen and dining room give a feeling of space and the main living area is a real delight with the fire and a whisky and the stunning views, you will feel like you have escaped.
Enjoy Sky Cable in the lounge, or watch shows from your Smart TV in the bedroom. It has a fully equipped kitchen with American Style Fridge Freezer.
Relax for a soak in the whirlpool bath in the main bathroom!
Waternish is a well loved and very popular area on Skye.
There are local places to visit and the only Michelin Starred restaurant on Skye is 2 miles from this location next to the oldest pub on Skye, called the Stein Inn.
Pet Friendly - Pets are allowed in this property but they will be charged at £10 per night per pet to a maximum of 3 pets. We kindly ask if you can keep your pet off the furniture and beds for the duration of your stay. Must be crated or kenneled if left unattended, and must be on a current veterinarian approved flea & tick treatment.

Charming, cozy, beautiful space
We absolutely loved our stay here. The house is so cozy and full of charm. Sitting in front of tie wood stove with that glorious view was the perfect way to end our days exploring Skye. The house is well equipped with everything you need and in excellent, super clean condition. We would highly recommend this space, we’re sad to leave.

Perfect Skye Cottage
This was a perfect cottage rental for a family of 4 on the western part of Skye. The home is situated on a hill overlooking the western shores of the island and has beautiful sunset views. The interior is super cute and cosy with plenty of space to relax. Bathrooms are large and updated with hot water at all times and the kitchen plus dining room are roomy as well. My family loved cozying up near the fire in the living room while watching the sun set. The cottage is located in a small community, so there are some other homes nearby, but we still felt tons of privacy and enjoyed being away from the hordes that can descend on the island. You’ll have to deal with a one lane road (with pull-outs) to get to the cottage, buts that’s pretty much status who for anything worthwhile on this beautiful island. To be warned, although internet is available it can be very patchy at times, which is expected based on the location. Host was super responsive and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again!

Dunhallin Ard - What a place
We had a great 4 days at Dunhallin Ard, the location is great with stunning views whatever the weather. It is quite remote but that just adds to the experience. It is very cosy with a well equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds.

Perfect Weekend Getaway
Lovely cottage with stunning views of the loch and the islands. We even had a couple of small deer visit us that we watched from the kitchen and bedrooms windows. The lounge was so cosy and a great place to relax in after a day exploring the island. Spacious kitchen with everything you could need. Very clean and comfortable. Would also highly recommend the tannery tour at Skye Skyns and dinner at The Dunvegan!

Absolutely beautiful !
We stayed at this amazing VRBO property and loved every day we were there. We wish we had stayed longer ! The house itself is perfection and so comfortable. The location is amazing.....about 30 min from Portree and in an off the beaton path location which is Heavan. The views are amazing. The welcome information was all on a digital screen which was really clever. We loved every day here and will return one day ! Barb and Dan

Highly recommend staying here
Honestly couldn't recommend this property any higher. All of us loved our stay, unfortunately it had to come to an end after a very comfortable 4 nights Very close to Loch Bay if you're wanting to dine there (I couldn't quite convince my mam to book dinner for 6 there) and Dunvegan. But really not that far to the main sights on the isle at all. Lovely part of Skye Many, many thanks for having us.

The property is as advertised. They reach out via email a view days prior on how to check in and the gpa location which was extremely helpful. Wifi was so so but good enough for what you need. Beautiful area and got the much needed rest and relaxation.

Holiday in Skye
Cosy beautiful cottage perfect for our family holiday. Boys loved the ping pong table and darts and we all enjoyed cosy evenings by the fire. The weather was good for the week so enjoyed using the telescope on our final night for the clear skies! We would thoroughly recommend this cottage to anyone coming to visit Skye. We were sad to leave.

Fantastic House
This is a superb house in a stunning location, very spacious and comfortable, tastefully furnished and equipped with every possible thing you might need! We thoroughly enjoyed our special occasion weekend although it was (for us anyway) an expensive option for three nights. But we are glad we pushed the boat out. The house is within easy driving of many lovely walks, distillery visits etc. We also set off from the house and walked up to the Broch on the hill above. There are several restaurants offering "fine dining" at high prices, but if you are actually hungry you can't do better than Sunday lunch at the Old Inn at Carbost (remember to book).

House of incredible views
Our family loved Dunhallin Ard! It is a bit remote, but the house is beautiful with amazing 180 degree views of the ocean. It was a great place for refuge after full days of exploration of Isle of Skye. The house was very clean and well equipped. Given its remote location, it was helpful to get groceries in Portree and Dunvegan. Dinner at The Stein Inn (5 min) away from the house is a must! I would highly recommend this place.
