All our properties at Lower Mill Estate, The Cotswolds, and Silverlake, Dorset have strict rules to ensure a family-friendly atmosphere. Our properties must strictly be used for holiday purposes only and not for working in and or using to commute to and from a place of work. Stag and Hen parties are strictly not allowed at any of our properties, and we reserve the right to cancel your booking if you break the estate rules.
Jema is located in an exclusive area within Lower Mill Estate called Orchid Village, being part of just nine individually built properties accessed via a private gate offering designated parking. Jema has two twins, two doubles (one with en-suite), and one bunk room as well as spacious open plan living areas and a large family cinema room.
Ground Floor
The front door to the entrance vestibule provides coat hanging, seating, and storage. Utility room with shower cubicle, WC, washing machine, and tumble dryer.
To the rear of the property, there is one lakeside Twin bedroom and one lakeside king bedroom, both with a sliding door onto the ground floor terrace. Completing the three ground floor bedrooms is a further Twin Bedroom.
All three bedrooms have access to the spacious family bathroom comprising a bath with a hand-held shower attachment, WC, wash hand basin, and separate shower cubicle.
First Floor
Here you will find the spacious master bedroom with direct access to a balcony that enjoys stunning westerly views across the nature conservation lake. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a separate shower cubicle, a bath with a handheld shower attachment, WC, and a wash hand basin.
The second bedroom on the first floor is a bunk bedroom.
You also have a family bathroom comprising a bath with handheld shower attachment, WC, and wash hand basin.
To top this floor off you have a large family cinema room with sofa, projector tv, and selection of children’s games and toys.
Second Floor
On the top floor, you will find a spacious open living area comprising a fully equipped kitchen with a single oven, built-in microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and Nespresso machine, which takes Vartua capsules. Good range of wall and base cupboard units, separate larder cupboard.
This living area comes with a dining area with a table and chairs to seat 10. Balcony doors lead to the second-floor balcony with an outdoor table and chairs for dining for 8 guests and views to the front of the property.
The lounge area comes with wood a burning stove perfect for the winter months, doors leading to a westerly facing balcony benefiting from stunning views across Somerford Lagoon. There is seating for 6 in the form of occasional chairs.
Outside
Jema is located within a private gated area of just nine houses providing secure allocated parking. A small garden area can be found to the rear of the property and Jema benefits from westerly views across the adjoining nature conservation lake from its first and second-floor balconies.

There is a strict 11 pm noise curfew on the estate.
Normal check-in is from 4 pm.
Check out during off-peak dates is by 10 am on the day of departure. During peak dates (school holidays) check out is at 9 am.
Please be aware that the vegetation surrounding the property is subject to change according to the time of year. This may mean that the views represented in the photos above may vary depending on the season in which you stay with us.
