"Ca la Carme" is located in a peaceful rural setting near El Montsec mountain range in the region known as "La Noguera" in Catalonia, Northeast Spain, near the Gorges of Mu, Mont-Rebei, and Terradets.

For those who want to relax after a fun day out in the sun, the village outdoor swimming pools, open from end of June until mid-September, daily prices are economic, free entrance for children up to 7-year-olds, weekly pass for children age 8-13 is 10,5€, weekly pass for adults is 15€, weekly pass for adults age 65 or above is 10,5€.

There is also a free access controlled bathing area in the river Segre called "La Platgeta".

The territory hosts some of the finest sport climbing sites in Europe set amongst a stunning landscape of gorges, valleys, and water reservoirs.

If you come with your family, and for those who are not into rock climbing, activities available in the area are open air sports such as hiking, MTB, all kind of water sports, sport fishing, caving, and birdwatching.

Other leisure activities include wine tastings (D.O. Costers del Segre produced in the area), visits to archaeological sites, visits to paleontological sites, and stargazing. The area of El Montsec was granted the certification of Starlight Reserve and Tourist Destination for the quality of its starlit night sky nearly free of light pollution. Right in the middle of el Montsec there is an astronomy center with two telescopes and a planetarium which organizes regular weekly visits.

The first floor unit has:

- One bedrooms with twin beds (bed linen and a set of towels are provided for)

- The fully equipped kitchen has a cooker with vitroceramic hobs, a multifunction electric oven, a fridge/freezer, kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery, a microwave, and laundry facilities.

- One full bathroom with shower (towels are provided for)

- The living/dining area has a 32' flat screen TV, free WiFi, sofas, a dining area.

- Nice Terraces with BBQ, outdoor table, and chairs

- Parking space for a car.

Parking is included in the price. The property is cleaned prior to each visit.

"Can Pere" restaurant is within walking distance from the house.

Airports close by are Barcelona El Prat (a 1h30min drive) and Reus Aiport (a 1h30min drive). Lleida Airport, the closest airport 45 miles away, operates charter flights mainly, from Birmingham, Bristol, Southampton, London-Gatwick, Manchester, and Belfast, by Thomas Cook and Flybe.
