Spacious and well organized, Casa Boccaccio offers up to six beds (one double bedroom, one bedroom with two single beds and a double sofa bed) and a delightful veranda to relax with family or friends. Casa Boccaccio is located in the heart of Florence and in one of its most prestigious areas, inhabited by nobles and families well since ancient times, and is located inside a beautiful historic building opening the doors to those who want to experience the city absolutely only. The building, which takes its name from the hillside ("coast" in the Florentine tradition) dedicated to San Giorgio, is just Oltrarno, 30 meters from Ponte Vecchio and only 10 minutes walk from the Santa Maria Novella Station.

Property was spacious and close to areas we wanted to see but far enough away that it was quiet. Owner responded quickly to any questions. Having two bathrooms was convenient.
Nice apartment with private outdoor space. Short distance from the Ponte Vecchio up a little hill. Had everything we needed for our 5 day stay. Comfortable beds and living/ eating area. Washer dryer in the basement was a bonus. We parked our car in a paid garage nearby.
Perfect location within walking distance of the major sights, The apartment is located in a building from the 1700’s, so it’s quirky. The kitchen is tiny but functional, gas range. The patio is nice and opens out from the back bedroom. There was room to hang clothes. The showers was small, but the hot water was plentiful. The host let us check in a bit early and leave our luggage for a bit after we checked out. Trash was inconvenient, it had to be taken down the street down three sets of stairs. It is best to take it down when you are leaving the house to sightsee for the day. Grocery store and restaurants are close by. The apartment was comfortable and the beds were great.
Alloggio molto carino,in buona posizione
L'unica pecca è la maleducazione di alcuni affitatari .. rispetto zero verso gli altri condomini soprattutto a sera tarda e nottata.
We were very happy staying in this apartment. It was a nice, cool refuge from the heat of August. The location was perfect. A quiet area just across the Ponte Vecchio.

Cozy and quaint
There were 5 of us- 4 adults & a 14 yr old, who slept on the pull out sofa. They had clean sheets for the pull out, but only an old, dingy blanket for a coverlet/duvet. That was dissappointing. The sheets overall were also very rough- maybe 250 thread count. Patio would have been amazing to sit out on if it hadnt mostly rained. Otherwise, it was a bit tight for us all, but we only stayed 2 nights so it worked short term.
