In Verbier Village you will find peace and quiet, charming buildings, and beautiful views, tucked away beneath the much busier town but only a few minutes away from the convenience of the ski lifts, restaurants and bars. Nestled among old barns, and with a 180 degree view of the mountains, including the Grand Combin, our apartment was renovated in 2018. Enjoy characterful old beams, a traditional wood burning stove and exposed stone walls with all the comforts of a modern kitchen and comfy beds.
The kitchen and living area are kitted out with brand new Siemens appliances, a dining table to seat eight guests, and an incredibly comfy sofa. Through the deep-set windows in the old stone wall you have a 180 degree view of the mountains. If you get bored of looking at the view then there’s also a TV with international channels and a Netflix account, and of course, wifi.
The kitchen features a 200-year old wood-burning stove – a traditional Valaisan Pierre Olaire – to warm you up after a day on the slopes. We’ve also fitted brand new radiators in case you don’t want to fire up the stove.
The apartment has three bedrooms, the master bedroom can be made up as a superking size (180cm) bed, or as two singles. The smaller double bedroom also has a superking bed, and the third bedroom features a small double (140cm) bottom bunk, and a single (90cm) top bunk. Soft cotton bed linen and Egyptian cotton towels are provided.
We have two bathrooms, one with a large rain shower. The second bathroom has a bath and overhead shower.
Verbier village has a restaurant and tearoom, which sells bread and croissants in the mornings, a fromagerie (with a 24h cheese ATM!), and a bus stop (just in front of the house) that will get you to the ski lift at Medran in just a few minutes. If you fancy a walk (or if you’ve stayed out later than the last bus) then we are just ten to fifteen minutes walk downhill from Place Centrale. Please note that the walk up to town is a little steeper, but the bus stop really is just 30 seconds away.
