Wildrose Cottage is Located on a small picturesque lake behind a sandy ocean beach. The cottage is on a quiet country road and nestled among trees.
One large bedroom with a queen sleigh bed and a single bed pullout. Second bedroom with a queen bed. Queen size pullout in living room. Both bedrooms have closets.
The modern kitchen includes microwave, oven, stove, fridge, coffeemaker, toaster and all dishware and utensils. New bbq on the back deck off the kitchen.
Private brand new hot tub on the large back deck with views of the lake and ocean. Cosy sauna for relaxing after a day at the beach. One-half acre private lot on the lake.
Electric vehicle charging port available upon request. Electric charging fee will be added to the rental fees.
Snairs beach (sandy) is less than a kilometer away and within walking distance. Queensland Beach is one of the best beaches on the South Shore and is 8 km away and has lifequards. Many other sandy beaches along the Lighhouse Route and within 10 km. There is a rail trail for biking and hiking which connects you to Queensland Beach and Hubbards Village.
Relax in the afternoon sun on the back deck overlooking the lake and with a view of the ocean. Sit on the lawn in adirondack chairs and enjoy the view of the lake and trees and listen to the birds and ocean waves from Snairs Beach. Enjoy a campfire in the evening and listen to the waves at the beach and the frogs in the lake.
We are 30 minutes from the fabulous city of Halifax where you can enjoy historic landmarks, restaurants, shopping, museums, parks, and the lively Halifax waterfront and boardwalk. We are located close to Tantallon, NS where you can get groceries from major chain stores, go to an organic market, get gas, visit the liquor store and many more services. We are 10km away from the village of Hubbards where there is a small grocery store, liquor store, pharmacy, gas station and other amenities. We are on the Lighthouse Route and within an hours drive of Peggy's Cove, Chester, Mahone Bay, and Lunenburg which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
