Sound of the Sea is a well maintained gated community in Emerald Isle. Short walking distance to grocery store, shops, movies, restaurants, Putt-Putt, bicycle rentals, surfing rentals, bait stand, and more! Gorgeous sandy beach is never crowded. Head east on beach and walk one mile to Bogue Pier, head west and walk 3 miles to the beautiful "Point."

Rents Saturday to Saturday. Second floor condo, 2BR, 1-1/2B. 2Q rooms. Linens, bath towels and beach towels provided. Excellent all the way around.

Nice, tidy place within walking distance to the beach. Gated condo which was nice. Beach chairs available for renters to use was a plus. Paulette and her husband met us at the front door and helped us carry our luggage up the stairs into the condo and gave us a quick tour!! Fantastic after a long day of driving. All of their recommendations were spot-on. Definitely staying here again if we ever come back to beautiful Emerald Isle.

Fantastic stay!

We received such a warm and inviting welcome from the owners when we arrived. They helped us carry our luggage up the steps and recommended things to do and places to eat. The condo was very clean, well stocked, and had a wonderful view. Beach chairs and towels are provided, which is a plus. Bring shade for the beach, you will need it. My girls and I love Emerslad Isle and will be back to stay here. The owners were easy to work with and readily available if needed. Highly recommend!

Great beach

The condo was great very clean and comfortable. Paulette and her husband were great. The beach maybe the nicest in NORTH Carolina. Location is easy access to supermarkets , restaurants and shops.

This couple has it down to make sure all goes well with your stay. They even come to welcome you and help carry your luggage up the stairs. Very clean and had everything we needed, even cake pans and an electric beater for the birthday cake we wanted to make. The beach was pretty crowded there but not too bad. They have nice beach chairs and a charcoal grill which we used .

Emerald Isle Beach Stay

We had a wonderful time at this beach condo. Paulette and Danny are excellent hosts. As many others have noted, Paulette greeted us upon arrival and helped carry our luggage into the condo. She gave us many suggestions for area activities and dining. Danny promptly responded when we experienced tv problems. The condo was clean, comfy, and bright.

Fabulous! Stay here ASAP! Just do it!

Everything was superb! From initial contact with Paulette ...to her and Danny meeting us to carry luggage up the steps.. to check out, they were fantastic folks to meet and work with! Great restaurant & local recommendations & they told us of biking event that my husband and I got to participate in last minute! Paulette and Danny have thought of so many extra touches and amenities- the condo was so clean, smelled good, well stocked, decorated so tastefully, in a quiet neighborhood. Was the perfect getaway for our 36th anniversary and we would not hesitate to come back! Especially loved the short walk to the beach in early mornings! Come stay and relax here! You won't regret a moment!

Spring getaway!

Amazing owners, friendly and generous.. provided a beautiful, comfortable place to stay, Comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, balconies on both floors!! Paulette and Danny were there to meet us and carried our luggage !(note the spiral staircase!) Advice on places to go and eat, And always available when any tiny little thing came up… lots to do, weather cool but beautiful… April stay so pools not open yet.. beach is so close and can be enjoyed from both balconies.. we will be back for sure!!!

Awesome renters

Paulette and her husband are amazing renters!! They greeted us and helped us unload as well as made themselves available during our whole stay. It’s a cute little condo with a neat spiral staircase and I love the privacy and security of staying in a gated community. Would highly recommend and will be visiting with them again in the future (& bonus they’re literally right across the street from SolBowls which is my favorite breakfast spot on EI)

Spring break getaway

Perfect condo and will definitely be back! Equipped with everything you need, even beach chairs and a charcoal grill! Easily see and hear the ocean from both upper and lower balconies. We loved our stay, and the owners are amazing and super helpful! Excellent hospitality and communication with Paulette and Dan! They helped unload our car and carry our bags! We weren't blessed with warm weather, but the trip and condo were incredible!

Quick last minute trip to see marine at Camp Lejunue

Brought my grand daughter to see her sweet friend stationed at camp Lejunue, Decided to go last minute and found this gem. Booked at 8 pm night before leaving on trip and Paulaette answered promptly. Met us at the condo, with keys and helped us with luggage, offered us information on the area. The location was perfect for riding our E Bikes. The condo is located right at the greenway. We rode 26 miles each day, great green way is about 12 miles each way and a lovely ride. Loved the Captain Kitchen food truck/ shrimp burger fantastic. The beach is close and can hear the waves and sneak a glimpse from the balcony. The condo beds were very comfy, good mattress and kitchen well stocked. Really cute kitchen dishes and deco effects. Very clean and well stocked with anything you would need. Hard to find anything to improve other than us being old, chubby and tired from riding our bikes and then tackling the stairs/ LOL just made our work out better. Thanks Paulette for sharing your home

Lovely Beachside Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay in this bright & well maintained 2d floor two bedroom beachside rental. Its well located near restaurants, shops and other attractions on Emerald Isle, but it is also located very short and direct walk over the dunes to the beach. We had a view of the ocean from the deck and one bedroom and enjoyed both the sunrise and sunset sky on our walks on the beach. The photos do not do the place justice as it is very clean and sunny, with lots of cute beachy memorabilia on the walls. Paulette met us at the door and was a gracious host and gave us some helpful restaurant and activity suggestions for our stay. We enjoyed a very nice visit to Beaufort on Sat morning for their Artisan market and then went by ferry to Shackleford Island to collect shells and see the wild horses. We would have liked to stay at least a day longer. We hope to be back soon for another visit to Emerald Isle.

Perfect beach vacay

Emerald Isle beach

The condo was very nice with all the amenities for a quiet young family stay. Very convenient to stores, etc. Didn’t know there were circular steps in condo to all bedrooms and 2 flights of stairs to get to condo which was a little difficult with older guests with bad knees and back. Unfortunately we had to leave 4 days early due to health issues so couldn’t enjoy our whole week.

Summer getaway

This condo is so cute and homey! We loved how clean everything was! Paulette was amazing with making us feel welcomed, she even helped unload when we arrived! It was very quiet, I don’t think I heard anything from the neighbors all week. We feel relaxed and refreshed!

Great condo and great owners!
