Hafan fferi, Ferryside, 1 bedroom cottage near the beach
Hafan Fferi is the perfect base to explore south west Wales from.
Situated in the traditional fishing village of Ferryside, Carmarthenshire, a short walk from the beach.
There is a newly reinstated foot ferry across to Llansteffan, there is also a train station, perfect for an evening out in Carmarthen or trips to Tenby.
Hafan Fferi has off road parking and a fully enclosed garden.
The cottage has one bedroom with comfortable king size bed and TV.
Downstairs is the fully equipped kitchen, shower room with extra large shower and lounge with dining area, wood burner, smart TV and comfortable leather sofa.
There is a dog friendly restaurant, cafe and pub all in walking distance of the cottage. Kidwelly is less than 10 mins drive with co-op, dog friendly pubs and cafes as well as Burns farm shop, restaurant (very dog friendly) and dog adventure park which can be hired for individual use.
If you are looking for a larger property we have another cottage in Kidwelly, Hafan Bach dog friendly cottage, which sleeps 5 and welcomes up to 4 dogs.

Kidwelly Industrial Museum and Carmarthen Heritage Centre are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Glyn Abbey Golf Club and Derllys Court Golf Club. The Play King and National Botanic Garden of Wales are also worth visiting. Make sure you get close to the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

We fell in love with the area and being dog owners ourselves have worked hard to make our cottages relaxing home from homes that are truly dog friendly. We completed the renovation of Hafan Bach in Kidwelly in 2016 and in 2017 we completed Ty Clyd also in Kidwelly. Hafan Fferi in Ferryside is our most recent project
