Recently updated, Seaside Studio is well laid out with a queen sized bed and full sized futon. This unit comes fully stocked with everything from beach towels and chairs to buckets for gathering shells and shark's teeth on Englewood Beach- a mere 65 short steps away! Toss your line in from the beach or grab a nearby charter to experience world class fishing in the famous Boca Grande Pass or Stump Pass. Speaking of Stump Pass... you can walk to the breathtaking Stump Pass State Park from our studio in less than four minutes!

Great for a quick getaway.

My husband and I stayed for a long weekend. Its a wonderful location. You can hear the waves. It had everything we needed. We didnt use the stove or kitchenware. A few things could be updated, but overall the place was great.

The perfect getaway for me and my two Collies

The weather was absolutely perfect. I found lots of shells and lots of sharks teeth. And in the evening I took my two Collies for a walk on the ocean, and they absolutely loved the beautiful Breeze. We can't wait to go back. I noticed it had all new windows and a fresh paint job along with a new roof because of the hurricane.

Spring Getaway

Property was very quaint. Older, but clean and in nice condition. Would stay here again. Two small things areTV could be a little closer to the bed and storage laundry room a little neater. Overall, very pleased.

Great Location

Perfect studio for a couple. Fantastic location close to the beach and to Stump Pass, and also a very easy 15' walk to several restaurants. Great value! Owner was very responsive. The batteries of our tv remote were dead, so she had Amazon deliver a new pack of batteries first thing the next day. Will definitely consider coming back here.

Girls Getaway

Perfect for two people, walk to the beach and everything you need. So glad I didn’t have to bring beach chairs and all the stuff you want on the beach. We will return.

Adorable cottage in a great location

Loved my stay at the Seaside Studio! It was cozy and well cared for. I stayed by myself but had some family over one night and it was perfect. It had plenty of seating both inside and outside for my family to hang out. And the location is wonderful. Conveniently close to the beach but also very quiet and peaceful. I hope to stay again in the future!!!

Great low key location

There are great beaches all over! The city beach, Stump Pass and Gasparilla Island State Park were heaven. Easy to get around in this area. The unit has a very nice and quiet air conditioner. It was convenient to be able to wash a few things and we gave the beach chairs a good workout. Owner is very congenial and responsive.

Another Great Trip!

This studio is so cute! We love it and our dog likes staying there too. We had a great time, walked the neighborhood, went out to eat at great restaurants nearby, icecream shop not too far (short drive) was awesome, the bed slept great and the main thing "the beach" is very beautiful with calm waters when we were there and could enjoy floating (so nice). There is a small 2 seat table we ate at & enjoyed talking. The owner is great and easy to communicate with.

Acceptable but….

This property is not as advertised. In the detail description it states that it is 65 steps from the beach. 65 steps will get you across the road in front of a long line of houses/units all marked as private property; no beach access; private beach; no trespassing and 24 hour video surveillance. The beach may be accessed via the state park south or north, but unless you are an Olympic speed walker and not dragging beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers etc. it will take longer than 4 minutes. That might get you to the gate and the mandatory entry fee. You can also drive there, but there is a parking fee. In short, the description is very misleading and should require a partial refund as we are now requesting. Cute accommodations, but deliberately misleading in it’s description. Nothing else is within walking distance but does have 1 excellent restaurant within 2 miles.

Wonderful!

We stayed in the studio and it was great! Just the right size for a couple and we had friends that came by and they loved it as well. Beach was a short walk across the street with the only negative being the resort across the street would not let us sit in their private beach area but, we were close enough to walk to the State Park beach area. The studio was furnished nicely, had plenty of towels and sheets and blankets. Having the laundry room was great to hang our clothes.

Cute studio

Everything was just as described and even more. Loved those plates with FL colors and 100% cotton towels made in India. We were able to cook on a grill and inside and saved a lot by not going out every day.

Wonderful owner - very responsive

Very cute and quiet with a short walk to the beach. I arrived after Ian and everything was lovely except the brand new AC / heater unit was not functioning; perhaps connected incorrectly. It was very cold (coldest in five years, I was told) so I needed the heater but it was not working. I contacted the owner to let her know. Since it was Christmas Eve and night time, there was no way to get heat working right away. I ended up staying at a friend's VRBO and it worked out okay. I did not have to fight over a refund or even ask for one. I was going to but the owner contacted me before I could even ask about a refund. She assured me that she would be processing a full refund right away and sure enough by the time I got home and looked, it was all taken care of. This owner was absolutely wonderful and did not let an unfortunate situation ruin my vacation. Thank you so much for your understanding and quick response. Jenn

Close to beach but not Public access spot

A few things I wish I knew before booking: 1. The beach is across the street but according to the property on the beach it’s a private beach, meaning you can’t access the beach from there. 2. Check to make sure stump pass state park is open- this is my fault, I didn’t realize it was still closed after the hurricane. 3. Don’t use the towels that are in the bathroom, they smelled like poop. Use the ones in the laundry room. 4. The step down in the kitchen is hazardous and difficult to see. 5. No bath soap or shampoo, make sure to bring your own.

Fantastic understated beach paradise home

Literally 12 steps to the most beautiful beach ever with the bay behind. A pair of Osprey were there all week too! Nature all over and shells galore. Lovely home well equipped with everything. I hope to return soon. Very safe area, walked to everything. Thank you for such a lovely trip! Owner was great too

Magical Vacation!

We had a super nice time at Manasota Key! The studio apartment was all we needed, close to the beach, very clean, cute, relaxing, & old school Florida style. It was quiet there too. The beach was fun to walk on (I wore water shoes), & the water was a calm light green clear color. There were snow cones being sold at the end of our street & even a great vienna beef hot dog food truck one day with fresh cut fries (don't know how often they are there though). This rental is close to Stump Pass State Park which is walkable or you could quick drive less than a minute & park. This trip provided much needed rest. Floating in the ocean was a highlight for us! & oh yeah I saw a baby turtle making his way to the ocean which made this trip special! Thank you so much!
