The city of York is renowned for its large variety of museums, excellent restaurants and theatre, and is ideal for a holiday at any time of the year. Racing at York, Wetherby, Thirsk and Ripon. The Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors, both within 1/2 hours drive. Pub and shop ½ mile.
