Sun, Sea and baby sheep!

Enjoyed a wonderful week at this cottage, the owners Mary and John were so welcoming, gorgeous shortbread homemade by Mary for when we arrived, really well equipped, lots of games to play, the garden is huge, we had beautiful weather and enjoyed visiting the towns nearby. Lovely icecream in town and the beach bike hire people were brilliant too. We will definitely return here, we felt very at home.

We had a great week here with our two Springer Spaniels, Betsy and Millie, they loved their morning walks along the beach which is only 5 minutes drive away from the cottage. The cottage is on a working farm, it is the tidiest farm and cleanest I've ever seen! The cottage is homely and welcoming. Mary is a super host and made us a batch of shortbread biscuits which lasted us all week. There is a huge selection of books to read which we really enjoyed and also a good DVD library, ideal for those wet days or dark evenings. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

The house provided everything you needed for a comfortable stay.

The house provided everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The surrounding area was lovely and it was very quiet and within easy reach of beaches and walking. The owners were very friendly and helpful and were right next door if you need them. The house had a large fully fenced garden which our 2 dogs enjoyed as well. Would definitely recommend a family stay. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Enjoyed our stay, John & Mary were welcoming and nearby if needed but remained unobtrusive.

Enjoyed our stay, John & Mary were welcoming and nearby if needed but remained unobtrusive. A working farm with cows, sheep, chickens & horses. Approximately five minutes drive from nearest village (Girvan) including sea, harbour etc fantastic walks in the vicinity. Had a fantastic meal at a pub called the Kirk Michael the beer & food were excellent.

Absolutely beautiful accomodation, the best cottage we have ever stayed in.Can't praise it enough!

We were welcomed by Mary on our arrival. A lovely welcome awaited us the kitchen , a box full of the most delicious shortbread I have ever tasted and milk in the fridge for our 1st cup of tea. The cottage was immaculate. Everything in the cottage is of high quality. Equipped with everything you could possibly need. The garden was lovely, we were able to sit out in it as we had some lovely sunny days. Also it being secure so my dog didn't have to be secured to a tether as is usually the case . As a family we had a lovely holiday touring this very pretty part of Scotland. We plan to book this cottage again in the future. We have stayed in many cottages over the years , this is by far the best we have ever stayed in. Any others we book now will have a hard act to follow.

Fantastic Holiday home and a great location.

Fantastic Holiday home and a great location. Some great beaches nearby and amenities locally. Absolutely great holiday home for our 20 month old twins. They loved seeing day old lambs and calves and really enjoyed the farm being literally on the doorstep and seeing the horses and sheep in the field behind the house. We hope to visit again. Also, the shortbread was to die for!! Thanks for a fabulous week.

Great cottage, with excellent facilities.

Great cottage, with excellent facilities. Enjoyable week for a family of Severn despite some wet days. This didn’t deter us from visiting many interesting places in beautiful Ayrshire. John and Mary were lovely and took time explaining many things on the farm to the children. The children loved the animals especially Georgi and Budd and some us saw a calf being born. Highly recommend.
