This cottage was fantastic, spotlessly clean, well equipped, spacious, and very good value for money
This cottage was fantastic, spotlessly clean, well equipped, spacious, and very good value for money. The views were amazing. The only problem inside the beautiful cottage was the squeaky floorboards ha ha ! Lots of bird life and wildlife in the surrounding area, so take binoculars. Absolutely loved our time there and my daughter was in Rosscot cottage so a great family holiday. Local amenities were in Tain a few miles away. A great base for the tourist attractions In the area. Didn’t want to leave it was so good. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

This is a gem of a cottage in a stunning location.
This is a gem of a cottage in a stunning location. It’s really well equipped both in the kitchen and upstairs in the living room and bedrooms. The cottage is well presented and very clean through out. We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage and visited many of the local beaches and towns. The log burner in the living room was used on a few evenings and its lovely and cozy sitting in the dark with the fire going. The bed that we used was lovely and comfy and we both slept really well. The gardens are beautiful and full of birds and on a few evening there was a owl in one of the large trees seen from the living room. Would definitely recommend this cottage and brilliant value for money. The only slight downside was the WiFi , very hit and miss. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

A good location within a 20 minute to spectacular sandy beaches and hills and woodland walks.
A good location within a 20 minute to spectacular sandy beaches and hills and woodland walks. Several large supermarkets in Tain just 10-15 mins drive away. The cottage has a lovely big garden, good views, a large and fairly well equipped kitchen and a comfortable, large living room with a wood burner. Handy having 2 bathrooms one on each floor. I would definitely recommend it and would stay here again. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Super, quiet and private cottage with fabulous views of the Cromarty Firth, nice and rural but close
Super, quiet and private cottage with fabulous views of the Cromarty Firth, nice and rural but close to a main road and only 10 minutes from supermarket, cafés, shops, takeaways etc in Tain. Cottage had everything we needed, in particular loads of cutlery and crockery which is always a plus on holiday when you don’t want to keep washing up! Loads of space and a fantastic living room with the best views, and a pretty garden. We enjoyed the extra long Scottish evenings overlooking the fields and water. Handy huge utility room for getting in out of the occasional inclement weather quickly, too. Would definitely stay again. It says it is a family’s longstanding holiday home, which explains the lovely, homely feel, not impersonal like some cottages.

We love staying here.
We love staying here. The cottage is relaxed and there is plenty to explore around the area and further afield. Shopping is not within walking distance but Tain is not far away with excellent food shopping opportunities.

What a beautiful cottage and fabulous location. Lots of hidden gems to visit fairly close by, but also relaxing in the house by the fire in the upstairs sitting room was really nice! Highly recommended!
