Cabin was located in the perfect quiet serene area. View was great, loved watching the horses & the road was exactly where we wanted to be on. The Host was great!
This cabin is clean and has everything that you need, except a decent couch. The futon in the cabin is truly uncomfortable and broken (the middle piece) normally we would be outside but the weather was too cold. Also it would be nice if there was a dresser to put clothes in so that we don't have to get into the suitcase constantly. We would definitely stay here again.

Loved the fact that it's a "disconnected" cabin. I had just enough service to use the GPS on my phone, but not enough that my phone consumed me (like it normally does). I was pleasantly surprised at how close the cabin was to things to do and places to eat. The local food, shopping and town are so quaint and lovely! I hope we have the opportunity to return soon!
Once again the perfect place to stay if you ride a motorcycle and are riding the back of the dragon, or any of the many outstanding roads in Tazewell and surrounding area. The cabin is up a hill, away from the road and very private. Lovely cabin, once you exit driveway you are on the back of the dragon, about 30 miles from Marion. See you next year Matt.

Peaceful mountain cabin
Overall a great stay, it was very nice to get away from the city and have some fresh air and peace and quiet. The cabin had everything you need to be comfortable for a short stay. The surrounding area is very beautiful and quiet, except for the farm noises which I personally enjoyed.
The only issue we had was getting checked in, we weren't sent the code to the front door and had no reception to call the owner, we had to drive around for reception and call the owner until they answered. It took more than an hour to actually get in after we arrived.
The place was in a quiet location, having slow service and no wifi. It was calming and relaxing. There were a few trash items left when we checked in, making us uneasy about the cleaning. However, the towels and bedding smelled/looked clean. The kitchen and bathroom were equipped with so many extra items in case you forgot it. Overall, we were unaware of the major police theme because it was not mentioned in the description. The sentimental items of an officer who had died decorating the place made us feel uneasy.
We enjoyed our short stay and it was nice to have so much provided there.
We did not stay at this location. We left after 10 min of being. Items were open and left on the counter. When booking this rental the pictures do not look like what we saw when we got there. This place was that uncomfortable. I would like some compensation because we did not stay there at all.
Breathtaking views from the cabin geounds. Waking up and having a post card scene all around from your front porch, listening to farm animals, horses, livestock, hawks and other birds while having your breakfast drink, are highlights of this property. The freshly started Fox Orchards on the grounds, and the Back of the dragon at your driveway exit are the cherries on your ice cream sunday. Just a wonderful place to unwind, relax, and ride the Dragon!!!!! 5 stars is not enough, We met the owner while he was tending the orchard and he was very friendly and informative. Planning our next trip. Thank you Mathew.
We stayed here 2 nights and the only complaint would be that the parking by the cabin should’ve been level. That being said you are on a big beautiful hill. This not far from the start of the back of the dragon. A hot tub would be a great add but to just unplug, unwind and relax this is perfect!
Nice cozy cabin with a great view. Perfect location on the back of the dragon.
The cabin was great and the location was great. The landscaping could use some improvement as there are no flat spots on the property. We had to block up the picnic table and our chairs at the fire pit. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.
We came to ride the Back Of The Dragon and the beautiful surrounding areas. You could not ask for a better location then this cabin! It’s right on the Dragon and not far from Tazewell.
Cabin is nothing fancy but is very comfortable, had everything we needed after a long day of riding, and we enjoyed the fire pit at night. (Bring your own wood though. )
Cabin is super clean, quiet, and private. Loved it.
Not a place you would hang out all day but absolutely perfect for active folks to enjoy after a day of adventure.
My wife and I wanted a relaxing weekend getaway and this was perfect. Will definitely stay here again.

Romantic get away
Property was splendid and we would book again. Provides plenty of shade in the trees keeps the cabin cool. We never turned the AC on just opened all the windows. Really honored to stay in the cabin with the history it has. Visiting Burkes garden is a must and eating at the country store there.
