Very peaceful location
Property was extremely comfortable, clean and tidy. We had a very relaxing stay in this lovely part of Yorkshire. I would advise future guests to be aware that parking could be slightly inconvenient as spaces are sometimes not available near the cottage. This is not any fault of the owners, just an observation.

Lovely tiny cottage
Nice cottage for two, recently refurbished withive and care.Great to have a dishwasher. Lovely garden. Hot water upstairs is a problem. An inch of water in the bath and not enough for two showers. Missed a washing machine. It's time to start providing basic condiments again, we've stayed lots of places that do now since opening up again. Great to be able to walk to the train station and two excellent pubs.

Quaint cottage in a picturesque setting with everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Super little cottage ideally located in a quiet village, close to busy Whitby. It has everything you need for an enjoyable short stay and is situated right on the river Esk. Steppingstones from the bottom of the garden take you over the river and right to the front door of the local pub, serving amazing food with a warm welcome. Our stay was comfortable, clean and the welcome package was a lovely touch. We would come again in a heartbeat.

Perfect location if you are looking for something quiet.
Perfect location if you are looking for something quiet. The stairs are a bit awkward. The cottage was not cleaned to a high standard, however it was adequate. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Lovely cottage perfect for us and our dog.
Lovely cottage perfect for us and our dog. Fabulous location with the river esk at the bottom of the garden, stepping stones over to the pub! Facilities in the cottage were good, plenty of towels, tea and coffee supplied, log burner for that cosy touch. Local shop in Grosmont for essentials, no shop in the village. Beautiful scenery and walks in the area. Caught the train to Whitby, station is just up the road next to the pub which serves the best food with excellent service with a smile and a chat. Just a really lovely place to spend a week and see in the New Year. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

The cottage was nice. Location was amazing. Could do with the bathroom being upgraded. But generally was a nice old cottage. Really enjoyed our stay there.

Would consider removing dishwasher and install a washing machine- would be ideal after muddy walks with dog. Only downside was it was about a twenty minute drive to get to a local shop but pubs were good.
