A great cottage.
A great cottage. All on one level with a picnic bench and sun loungers available in the garden. Parking is very easy with assigned spaces at the end of the garden. The other side of the car park is Sewerby Hall grounds. You have free entry to the zoo, hall and walled garden as part of the accommodation package during opening hours using passes provided. However, the parkland does not close so you can wander around once most visitors have left. You can walk from the cottage on to the cliff tops for strolls into Bridlington or around Flamborough Head. Very Covid aware. Some soft furnishings and accessories have been removed but still well equipped. Love the photos of the locality on the walls. Near the Ship Inn which serves good food. Lovely stay with fab weather for September.
Lovely stay with fab weather for September. Enjoyed the zoo and gardens. Yes, things have had to be taken out of the property for covid eg cushions but did not detract from our visit. We were just able to be grateful to travel. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Enjoyed our stay, despite the impact from COVID (including reduced kitchen equipment and having to bring own bedding). Nice walking in the area, with the added extra of free access to Sewerby Hall. There are a couple of minor maintenance issues at the cottage, but overall very nice. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

This was out second stay at the cottage.
This was out second stay at the cottage. It is ideal as is all on one level. Option of walk in shower as well as bath is great for those like myself with mobility issues. Appliances all work perfectly so it feels like a home from home. The beds we all found to be a little too girl but apart from that most other things were ok. And I suppose beds are a very personal preference when it comes to firmness. Ideally located within easy distance from all locations so a good base to travel all around the area. An easy 2 minute walk to the cliffs. There are some steps down to the beach within 5 minutes but for those less able there are quite a few and could be challenging. Lovely to have says off driving and use the land train to bridlington. Check times of going on later season like October etc as can be a more limited service. The zoo is a lovely addition. There are plenty of other games including golf and orienteering as well as easy access for coastal walks. A lovely cottage for families with older relatives due to ground level and en suite bathroom in second double room. Would recommend to anyone. The staff at the hall, zoo, cars, shop etc are always really friendly and approachable. Our only annoyance on this visit was that ths bath mats supplied were black and full of hair. I did mention this to the office who said they would address this with the cleaners. I bough one's from town and took them home with us. I left theirs in the cupboard for them to remove and replace.
