The cottage was comfortable and well equipped the only complaint was lack of towels if you are going to provide them one bath towel and one hand towel per person is not enough. It is the first cottage we have stayed in where no one has come to say hello the note in the cottage that they leave you alone was rather terse a bit unfriendly. We thought the water was dangerously hot even though there was warnings about it. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Cottage was excellent.
Cottage was excellent. Lovely views and the dog enjoyed the paddock. We chose the cottage knowing there were no local amenities but were hoping to find more local walks, but due to the covid virus leaflets had to be removed from the cottage. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Our first visit to the Lincs wolds.
Our first visit to the Lincs wolds. The cottage was excellent, the wolds themselves a bit boring. The countryside is pretty, but intensively farmed and very similar throughout and little variety. However we enjoyed ourselves and saw a lot of the area by car, bike and on foot. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

This cottage was perfect for our week's holiday; we wanted to be in the Lincolnshire Wolds for walking and cycling and these were our main activities during the week. The cottage was very clean on arrival and the efforts made with information around Covid-19 was excellent and very reassuring. Information prior to arrival was also excellent. The cottage was very comfortable to stay in for a week and the outside patio area was great to enjoy a sit outside with a lovely view of Tathwell. Local amenities were a drive away, but that was fine for us. A very enjoyable week in the Lincolnshire Wolds staying at Bentinck. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Located in a quiet location ideal for dog with lovely enclosed compound at rear, comfortable cottage
Located in a quiet location ideal for dog with lovely enclosed compound at rear, comfortable cottage with lots of HOT water and good heating and good sized TV. The owner was on vacation during our stay so we did not have access to the very extensive video library. The cottage affords access to walk from the door (a lovely 6 mile more or less circular walk into Tathwell and beyond see photo). The cottage is on edge of the wolds offering more walks to around Aby, Alford, Tealby and maybe a visit to sandy beach at Skegness (lovely windmill in nearby Burgh le marsh easily seen when driving back from Skegness on left hand side of road (easy detour). Also maybe a trip to Lincoln with its magnificent cathedral.

The cottage was really nice & peaceful.
The cottage was really nice & peaceful. My brother & Sister-in- law visited for a day & sister- in- law stayed one night. I found it too remote on my own with my dog. There wasn't anyone next door in the adjoining cottage. The paddock was a lovely, but not the long grass in the middle. Dogs love to run in the long grass & early morning dew & evenings he was coming in soaked, including me! The owner did leave a towel. It would be easier to clean up after them, with short grass all over. There is a light outside near the garden area that comes on for a short while. It would be nice to have one in the patio area too.
