We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Meadowsweet.
We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Meadowsweet. We stayed with family over Christmas and appreciated the comfort that this beautiful cottage afforded us. We arrived to find a welcome note and bottle of wine and the cottage decorate for Christmas. The kitchen was well equipped and allowed us to cook all the traditional festive fare! The views were stunning and the village was within walking distance. There were walks on the doorstep and the opportunity to sit by a cost log fire. We would certainly recommend this property to others and hope to return.

Stayed with our 4 children for a week- cottage was fantastic- just felt it lacked one thing if your travelling with young children and that was kids plastic tableware/ cutlery. House was clean and very comfortable and has the most amazing views of the River Tay. We had fantastic weather the week that we stayed so done plenty of sightseeing- St Andrew's, Loch Tay, Edinburgh, Balmoral Castle. Would recommend the cottage and would love to come back someday ?

Lovely and well equipped house.
Lovely and well equipped house. Maybe a deep thorough clean would benefit the house as there were many ornaments/Nik naks, which were dusty, about the house, and I do not think there is time on a changeover day to do everything properly But very pleased with the property, would definitely return! ?

Have stayed in Meadowsweet a number of times and the cottage never disappoints.
Have stayed in Meadowsweet a number of times and the cottage never disappoints. Cosy and comfortable with all mod cons. A great place to go if you truly want to get away from it all. Newburgh is a great wee place with bags of potential. Unfortunately that potential has not been reached and lacks a small villages feel. If you have a car, there are a lot of lovely places close by and if you are a walker, there are some great walks to be done - just don’t expect a wee tearoom at the end of your walk for tea and cake as we couldn’t find any!
