Cosy home from home cottage

The cottage is well equipt and in a beautiful rural setting, situated around 10miles out to lovely towns and beaches. The description doesn't make it clear that the garden is not at the rear of the house but across the road .
Stayed 4 nights in May 2024

Lovely break at Burnbank.

Lovely break at Burnbank. Owner very efficient with comms and made sure we knew everything before we got there. Very cosy and relaxing. Only suggested improvement would be a larger fridge and a tumble drier but we managed on our break. Would highly recommend and we will be back at some point in the near future Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We enjoyed a weeks break in Burnbank Cottage.

We enjoyed a weeks break in Burnbank Cottage. The cottage is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The location was great for walks and mountain biking. We didn’t visit any restaurants due to Covid 19 restrictions just being lifted.” Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Comfortable and clean cottage which had fresh milk and tea bags on arrival.

Comfortable and clean cottage which had fresh milk and tea bags on arrival. Set in beautiful surroundings. O wner sent very clear and detailed instructions which was helpful. Cottage has electric (not night storage) heating which is great and means you can keep the cottage warm at the times you want. Good utility room with drying/storage for wet clothes. Cottage is well placed for access to several of the 7Stanes cycling centres. Cottage has storage for bicycles but this is a tight squeeze for four bicycles and requires some manoeuvring to get the bicycles inside. Children loved the x box and Nintendo Wii and the board games. Having Wi fi was good, as mobile phone coverage is poor, but the wi fi connection was variable (and was off so several hours a day on several days.) Remember this is a rural area. There is no front garden which is over the quiet lane/road near a stream. Space for one car to park in front of the house; but the designated car parking is on the other side of the road and not in front of the house.
