These luxury pine log cabins are equipped for every modern day convenience and comfort. Situated in landscaped grounds at the foot of Latrigg and Skiddaw, with panoramic views of the Lakeland Fells. The site is within walking distance of Keswick town centre, making the lodges an ideal base to enjoy the amenities of Keswick without the hustle and bustle of the town itself. Watendlath is the larger style of two bedroom lodges, situated by a stream and with views to Skiddaw and Latrigg. Shop and restaurant1 Mile, pub 200 yards.

The property is undergoing some bathroom refurbishment from the 15th November 2016 and so for 2017 there will no longer be a bath it is being replaced with a walk in shower cubicle.

Amazing lodge, very home from home, looks like it’s definitely one of the better ones inside with new appliances ect, loved the little Christmas tree also, great big tv with plenty of dvds and board games, we spent most of our times cooking in the lodge due to going into tier 4 while we were there so all pubs ect got closed down, had everything we needed plus more, if there was one bad thing I’d say about this lodge is that we had to leave, could of stayed there for months  will definitely be back. Great cottage.
Great cottage. Had everything we needed. Spotlessly clean, which eased our anxieties about travelling during Covid. Wine, biscuits and milk in the fridge made for a very welcome arrival. Our little girl loved the cabin and there were colouring pencils, books and films for her to watch. The cabins are a bit close together, that was are only gripe. We had a lovely break in a cosy cabin.
We had a lovely break in a cosy cabin. It’s an easy walk into Keswick from the cabin & as always we loved the many beautiful walks the Lake District has to offer. Watendlath is very well equipped & I can’t think of anything we needed. On arrival we found a lovely card & gift which made us feel very welcome. Would like to book again & would recommend this cabin to others.

The cottage was lovely and clean.
The cottage was lovely and clean.Very welcoming and relaxing.The only problem was when it was windy and raining hard which seemed nearly most nights we could not sleep because of the noise on the roof of cob nuts falling which was very loud and the rain.

A wonderful, fully equipped lodge just a short cycle ride or walk from the beautiful lakeland town of Keswick. We stayed with two young children (6 and 8) who enjoyed the freedom of pottering around the site. The lodge was very well equipped so preparing family meals was easy and we were able to eat both inside and on the veranda. The shower was excellent. The lodge is close to the brilliant Fitz Park with its great playing areas and BMX track. Superb!

Watendiath lodge is absolutely lovely and everything you need is in the lodge, home from home.
Watendiath lodge is absolutely lovely and everything you need is in the lodge, home from home. The owner left us little extras like milk, biscuits and a bottle of wine. what a lovely gesture. The site is local for the town centre so need the car. And the site is lovely and quiet. It was a pleasure to stay there.
