Review is difficult because it depends on who you are. Walkers looking for a walking holiday. Older people a bit remote - to say it is in easy walking distance of Keswick a bit of an exaggeration. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Very good.
Very good. Lovely location and very good, beautifully clean accommodation. Only problem was the armchairs and sofa were uncomfortable, not enough back support. Possibly the need to remove cushions has contributed to this. A cafetière as part of the equipment would be nice. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

A lovely lodge.
A lovely lodge. We had a great time. The lodge was clean and had every thing we needed. The location was perfect. We walked into Keswick for dinner every evening which was great. The lodge could do with a slight modernisation of sofa etc but exactly how the photos show on the website. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Glenmore Lodge is a really comfortable place to stay near Keswick.
Glenmore Lodge is a really comfortable place to stay near Keswick. Burnside park (on which Glenmore is situated) is ideally placed for easy access to Keswick town and the leisure centre but also to Latrigg and Skiddaw. The park is clean, friendly and quiet even though it is fairly near to the a66. Would definitely book here again. We stayed for just over a week with a family group of 6 ranging from 4 to 75 years old. The equipment in the lodge is great. Heaters work well and gas washing machine and dish washer too.

Excellent location, we have holidayed here a few years ago it just seems to get better.
Excellent location, we have holidayed here a few years ago it just seems to get better. Lodge was well equipped but getting quite dated in some of its furnishings and appliances, but really good folder of manuals meant operating them was quite straight forward. We were lucky with the weather and consequently spent most days touring the area to late evening, otherwise very limited entertainment media in lodge, pity no WiFi or satellite channels. Will definitely book it again.

Not quite as well equipped as Bewick last year for cooking and the lodges are packed in a bit tighter at that end. Overall though it was really good and very cosy and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again.
