The cottage was spick and span for our arrival.
The cottage was spick and span for our arrival. We were delighted at how warm, cosy and well equipped it was. Nice comfy bed and modern kitchen. Due to current COVID-19 restrictions we mainly cooked for ourselves. There were nice touches like candles on the dining table. Especially welcoming after rainy days on the hills was the efficient heating, so very warm in all the rooms. Only negative was the shower, as other have mentioned, very small and lacking power. We would visit again and certainly recommend for its convenience to all the lovely walks and amenities in Grasmere. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Little Beeches is definitely small, but fine for one or two. As others have said, the approach to the cottage and the parking slot requires negotiating tight spaces, but I didn't find it any more difficult than some car parks. The cottage has good heating, a good shower and a warm bed. After a cold day on the hills, I don't ask a lot more. Grasmere village is a short walk. Ideally situated for fell walkers, it is easy to spend a week at Little Beeches without the need to drive anywhere. The village of Grasmere, half a mile away, has many cafes, pubs and a Co-Op and is also the starting point for walks up Far Easedale and over to the Langdales, as well as level routes around Grasmere Lake and Rydal Water. The cottage is a warm and welcoming holiday home, perfect for those looking for a quiet retreat. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Overall had an excellent stay in cosy, comfortable cottage. Approach to cottage was trickier than led to believe in blurb and parking could have been a problem for us if all three spaces had been occupied. We have many happy memories of our stay there! A very nice location only down side re that was the very small parking space and the very small area to turn around your vehicle fine if you have a mini bet challenging if you have a comfortable salon car. We coped and it did not spoil the holiday. Extra towels would be welcome one bath towel each for the week was pushing it a little. A bowl large enough to beat eggs for an omelette would have been nice but again we managed with a little inventive use of a saucepan again this was not a major issue just a suggestion that a bowl would be very handy. We were lovely and warm and it was so peaceful.

Disappointing
Very small with no view. Not very welcoming, no tea, coffee, milk, kitchen roll that we’ve had in other cottages. Sorry but wouldn’t go back

A beautiful’ clean & comfortable small cottage.
A beautiful’ clean & comfortable small cottage. The only small issue I would draw attention to is that the flush on the toilet was rather erratic I would however recommend this cottage without any hesitation & would certainly book it again

A great cottage.
A great cottage. Comfortable and well equipped. We didn't use the car at all, walking/cycling from the door and using the buses.

Whilst the property was generally clean, the shower was disappointing. The decor & fittings could do with a general update. However, the property was in a great location, which was both quiet but only a 15 minute walk from the centre of the village.

A lovely place to stay and we would come again.
A lovely place to stay and we would come again. The only fault we found was that when the vent went on in the shower black flakes dropped out so we ended up not using it.
