Great cottage, we will go back but with a higher car so it does not ground out on the rough track

Cottage is in a wonderful setting.
Cottage is in a wonderful setting. It's is quite old-fashioned but that only adds to the quaintness. It's a good location to travel all around the peaks. Beds very comfortable.

We had an great time. The location of the cottage was great for us. Great space for sitting outside and enjoying the sunshine. Excellent base for walking in Derbyshire. As other reviews have stated the style is dated but that didn’t detract from our enjoyment. Would definitely book again.

A nice cottage at an idyllic location. Could do with more electric sockets and more comfortable chairs, but otherwise everything very good.

Lovely cottage in a perfect location-quiet but within short drive (or longer walk) of the village of Hope. Footpath from door up Win Hill. Loved the decor inside the cottage, which hasn't been updated to boring beige and laminate floors like so many holiday cottages have. The cottage was a little bit smaller than we expected and some aspects weren't very small-child-friendly (very steep stairs, upstairs windows easy for children to open and big enough to get out of, garden not fully secure, small stream in garden), but for children older than toddler age it would be fine, and perfect for adults, and as long as they're properly supervised the garden is a great size for kids to run about in.

We stayed in the cottage for a week in April 19, a family of 4 (kids aged 3 and 5). This place is a step back in time, set in a great location. The cottage isn’t big, but supporting it is a large garden and fields on each side. It is separate from any other building nearby. You pass the farm and The cottage is at the end of the gravel track. It has its quirks- heating is old style rads, bathroom and kitchen a bit chilly, £1 coin elec meter, etc But, it’s clean, far away from the roads to feel in the countryside. Depends on what you want for a holiday, we all loved it!
