This was a lovely cottage and in an incredible and peaceful location.
This was a lovely cottage and in an incredible and peaceful location. It’s a bit “vintage”, but in a really sweet way. Do note that there’s no internet, and that the stairs to the master bedroom are steep. And, as others have said, the mattress is a bit hard. But, I would *definitely* book again. It was an oasis for a week :) Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Only problems were mattress too hard & duvet too thin.
Only problems were mattress too hard & duvet too thin. Stairs up to top floor very steep and no toilet up there. Apart from that everything excellent. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

The house was accurately described on the website.
The house was accurately described on the website. It was comfortable and had a good size kitchen/diner and a cosy lounge. It is in a great location in the centre of Grasmere but still pretty quiet. Be aware that there is no Wi-fi but there is a reasonable 4G signal.
