Relaxing stay
Cottage was in a great position next to the Dochart water falls. It was comfortable, had everything we needed and had a great garden to the rear. The garden had a lovely view to look out onto and was secure for our dog to play in. Ours is a medium sized dog, cocker spaniel, maybe a larger one might be able to jump the fence? A little bit of traffic on the road to the front of the property but, not all the time and it didn’t affect our stay. For those wanting to let their dogs off the lead, there is a pathway that runs from the front of the Dochart Falls Inn that takes you to the edge of Loch Tay. A really pretty walk. (Just need to check if sheep are in the field near the Loch before letting your dog loose. ) All in all, a relaxing, enjoyable stay.

Spent a lovely few days at Gracedieu, was close to the local amenities and great walks right on the doorstep. Just beware that the ceilings in the bedroom are very low and was a bit of an issue for my partner who is over 6ft, but was fine for the couple of days we were there. Enjoyed the fews out the front and back of the cottage. Overall the cottage was warm and cosy, had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Superb location beside Falls of Dochart, saw all different water levels, spectacular when in spate, and loved listening to the roar when in bed and waking up to view out Belize’s. Traditional feel to cottage, 2 leather couches and wood burning stove good for relaxing in evening. Modern kitchen well appointed, only ice box on fridge so be aware no stand alone freezer. Plenty of space to spread party out, dining room , bothy room and if weather warmer small sun room. Rear Garden good size and dog friendly, saw red squirrel a few times. WiFi decent 17Mbs and son able to play his xbox online, plenty room to set up in dining room if bring own monitor/tv. Loads of good walks from the door, recommend walking to Loch Tay via river bank, bridges and return via old railway track. We had a great family week exploring and only used car a few times, circuit of loch Tay and visited aberfeldy. Munro bagging Tarmachan ridge which can be seen from the front door. Acharn falls was a wee hidden gem on south side of loch Tay. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Great week in Gracedieu cottage. Spent the days walking and cycling on the paths and back roads nearby. The cottage itself is terrific - wood burning fire, lovely back sitting room, sizeable garden and of course beautiful views of the Falls of Dochart. Have been before and will return again. Had a lovely stay at this cottage.
Had a lovely stay at this cottage. Four adults and a baby and there was plenty of room. A couple of us are tall so there were a few bumped heads but we learnt quickly to duck. The waterfall is beautiful and lovely to hear as you’re falling asleep. Saw lots of wildlife in the garden and lots of nice people eateries in the village. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a very nice time in the cottage and enjoyed a few nice days out from here with the kids. The village had everything we needed within walking distance and the view over the falls were lovely. All the rooms downstairs were lovely and the garden and log burning stove in the lounge were real highlights. The low bedroom ceiling, downstairs toilet/ bathroom and squeaky king size bed were the only annoyances here. We got used to the storage heaters after a couple of days but the house was too hot when we had some warm days at the beginning of our week. All in all it was a nice place to be.

Gracedieu is a lovely cottage, very well-equipped and located right opposite the picturesque Falls of Dochart (and just a short walk from the village centre). Downstairs is very spacious - including a 'bothy' which is basically a second living room, leading out to the nicely-kept and well-sized garden. All the rooms are furnished to a good standard and the kitchen is well-equipped with utensils and basic appliances. The hosts have provided a lot of information for guests, including helpfully laminated copies of a couple of local walks and detailed instructions on the best way to get the log-burner going. Motorcyclists be aware that the parking area at the front of the cottage is graveled, so take a little care riding up onto it (it's not deep gravel, so there's no danger of the stand sinking in and the 'bike tipping over, it's just a little loose). This cottage is definitely going in my favourites list for another trip.

A lovely cosy cottage with amazing views of Falls Of Dochart.
A lovely cosy cottage with amazing views of Falls Of Dochart. Good sized garden with picturesque views of hills and grey Herdwick sheep! Well equipped kitchen. Plenty of logs for wood burner ( for which we left the money for in the honesty tin), this saved us having to carry and purchase from shop. Plenty of walks nearby with our dog. Maps and local information helpful. The Courie Inn served great fish and chips and dog friendly. We had coffee in the Killin hotel and breakfast in capercaillie restaurant with our dog, all very friendly and good food. Kenmore is 20 mins in car where we visited the Mains of Taymouth bar and had a lovely lunch with our dog. Aberfeldy only 30 mins away. Unfortunately some places like museum and Falls Of Dochart inn closed in Killin until feb/ March but plenty of other things to see and do nearby. Walked old railway line up to mouth of Tay saw red squirrels and one in the garden of the cottage after putting nuts out for the birds. Stopped at Callender at Mhor Bread bistro/ cafe which was excellent! Just one small thing missing was a hairdryer and a mirror with a nearby plug, we forgot ours so bought one. Thanks to the owners for the lovely gestures of dog treats, bowls and towel ( although we brought our own) it was very thoughtful. Plenty of games and books to read and most importantly wi fi and decent tv! Would certainly go back.

Excellent property in a good location.
Excellent property in a good location. Be aware that the bathroom is on the ground floor and the bedrooms up steep twisting stairs so not suitable for elderly or infirm people. This was not a problem for us and we liked the wood burner and the smart TV. The cottage is well stocked in the brand new kitchen and the king sized bed was comfortable for us. The owners provide plenty of local information.

In an ideal location with views of the falls from all front windows and the garden leading to open fields from the rear windows. Very comfortable and well furnished while being a short walk to a selection of pubs/restaurants (highly recommend the Courie inn). Its location is great for both leaving the car and walking all day or as a central base for touring. Wildlife in the garden includes a wide range of birds as well as red squirrels (the pet shop in the village sells bird seed)
