We have only marked the cottage down because of the lumpy bed. Otherwise perfect for a relaxing holiday with 3 dogs. We particularly enjoyed the conservatory. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We loved our stay here and it's perfect for dog owners, we have a st Bernard who was only 16 months when we stayed and it was his 1st holiday. This cottage was perfect for him and us, garden area fully secure but also with secure fields adjacent for him to run around in. log burner and comfy sofa to relax on during the evening after a busy day exploring Dorset. the owner and his son greeted us on arrival and gave us great knowledge of the area and the best beaches to take the dog. we will definitely return again to this lovely little cottage Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

A great location for walking.

A great location for walking. Pub close by. Shops a couple of miles away. No phone reception (O2), 4g or WiFi so unable to book anything online. Bridport tourist info very helpful for things to do and local walks. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

My partner, myself and our 3 dogs had a fantastic holiday in Dorset. The cottage was very cosy and our dogs enjoyed running round in the enclosed garden, We all enjoyed many walks in the surrounding fields and village. The owners were very friendly and let us help ourselves to some apples and we made some yummy apple turnovers. Would book again. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We had a lovely break at Strawberie Cottage and particularly liked the fact that we could walk our dog directly from the front door across the fields and it was a short walk to the lovely pub Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Lovely cottage set in beautiful countryside.

Lovely cottage set in beautiful countryside. Quiet and well situated with main shops about 15 mins drive away. Welcome pack of biscuits, cider and milk were much appreciated but we could have done with a few more basics i.e salt, pepper and sugar. Perhaps also a hairdryer and bath/shower toiletries, although this may have been due to Covid 19 as many things were different. Kitchen had everything required, including a dishwasher, a bigger freezer would enhance the kitchen further. The fields around the cottage provide beautiful walks and the sheep and geese are fun to watch! We had a very enjoyable stay here and would thoroughly recommend it to everyone. The cottage was ideal for two.

The cottage was ideal for two. It sits on a working farm and is lovely to see animals in fields immediately adjacent to the cottage. There are a number of good walks directly from the cottage to nearby villages, all of which have good places to eat. The pub in Stoke abbott is also excellent. Would not hesitate to return.

The conservatory on the side of the cottage was fantastic.

The conservatory on the side of the cottage was fantastic. It allowed us to sit and enjoy the glorious surroundings, even when the weather wasn’t at its very best, and to enjoy the late night sky. The cottage itself was very nice and we shall definitely return in the near future.

this was our second visit to Stoke Abbot, which really says it all.

this was our second visit to Stoke Abbot, which really says it all. This time it rained seriously all day every day except one! Not Dorset's fault - everywhere in the country was wet.

We loved this country cottage with its attractive conservatory overlooking the ancient Waddon and Gerrards Hills. Good walks and wildlife. Comfortable bed, cosy log burner, most of what we needed in the kitchen. We’d definitely return. NB: no wifi, soap or hair dryer.
