Arrived at the Owl House for a Christmas break and it did not dissapoint. We had a warm welcome from Camilla and found flowers, treats and Christmas decorations awaiting us which were much appreciated. Warm and cosy with a log fire for those chilly days. Wonderful property in a beautiful, peaceful location, great for country walks. Had everything we wanted to make our stay enjoyable. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We have just spent a very enjoyable week in this cottage. Ideal location for exploring the area, although a car is essential. The cottage was well equipped and the owner was very friendly and helpful. Good outdoor space although we were unable to benefit due to weather. We hope to visit again. Absolutely amazing place! Even nicer than the photos show, very spacious in all of the rooms. We went with our two children, 2 and 3 months and was great for them. Lovely open plan downstairs but with lots of room it really flows from lounge to dining area and kitchen. Upstairs the main bedroom and twin bedroom are very spacious, leaving plenty of room for travel cot. Bathroom abs on suite are both nice and modern. House is lovely and warm with under floor heating. Beautiful views from the all the windows and garden. Nicely tucked away somehow both in the middle of nowhere but also only short distance from everywhere we wanted to visit! Owners are lovely as well. Would definitely recommend and definitely stay there again. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We had a wonderful stay at The Owl House in August during what was an exceptionally hot week! My husband booked this to celebrate 10 years together and what a perfect way to celebrate. The Owl House is stunning and set in such a beautiful location. It is well equipped for a young family and very child friendly. We managed to enjoy a couple of sunsets in the garden with a glass of red - on the rare evening our children settled to sleep! We enjoyed quality family time together without the normal daily interruptions. We were greeted by Camilla who was very welcoming and friendly - along with Mojo who was a delight. Our son particularly enjoyed playing in the garden on the trampoline and the swing. Thank you so much for sharing such a beautiful place with us - its a holiday we will cherish forever. Just had a great week at the Owl House.

Just had a great week at the Owl House. We've stayed in lots of cottages over the years and this was one of the best. The cottage itself is a very spacious barn conversion. It's really lovely inside, it's got everything you could wish for, loads of room, a great dining area and a really comfortable lounge. The bedrooms are really well done and with 2 bathrooms all the space a family could need. But as nice as the cottage is on the inside the outside is spectacular. It's huge for a start and the gardens are beautiful. With views of open countryside all round it even overlooks a golf course. The tennis court is fabulous, recently resurfaced it looks and feels great . So many cottages look good on the website only to be disappointed when you arrive. With this its the other way around, you really will be hard pushed to find a better outside space than here. For things to do there's a pub close by and Bishops Waltham is only a short drive away. Southampton and Portsmouth are close by which is great for getting over to the Isle of Wight. There's also lots of National Trust properties nearby. So if you want a peaceful setting but not too far from things to do it's an ideal location. Only worry now is will everywhere else we stay in future be a disappointment!

This is a lovely house to stay in for a relaxing country holiday. The house is of a high standard. The hosts and their dog Mojo are really lovely. It was a very easy place to be in - very spacious for 5. We were sad to leave.

We had an excellent stay at the Owl House, with the added bonus of seeing the Owls on CCTV! Camilla

We had an excellent stay at the Owl House, with the added bonus of seeing the Owls on CCTV! Camilla and Tim were available for any of our needs, and allowed use of their huge garden and trampoline also, which was an added bonus for the kids. Personal preference meant that the beds were a little hard for my liking, and the couches in the living space could probably do with a refresh as weren't the most comfortable. Wifi was very hit and miss, which can be a pain for the kids! This is nit-picking though! Would not hesitate to book again. The setting of the cottage is stunning, Lots to do within a 30-60 min drive for couples / families alike. Local shops are a small drive away, but what else do you expect when booking a place in the countryside!

Wonderful week away (again) this is the best cottage we have stayed in, and we've been booking cottages through cottages.com for over 20 years. Camilla & Tim are lovely hosts. Cottage and views are spectacular. Great base for Portsmouth & the south coast. Love Winchester and it's cathedral. Beaulieu in reach and well worth a visit.
