Fabulous accommodation, great views and perfect location
We had a fabulous weekend at skylark. The property is amazing and has everything you would need. Location is great, 5 minute walk to pub, shop and cafe and 10 minute walk to the beach. Cannot recommend it highly enough and will definitely be returning

What a lovely place to stay.
What a lovely place to stay. The accommodation was clean and spacious. Beautiful fire place. Lots of essentials, bottle openers, glasses, etc. Perfectly placed for easy access to the sea front, although it was a pebble beach. Easy 3 mile walk across grass path to nearby Sheringham. Awesome pub less than a minute walk away as well as a small convenience store. A 15/20 min walk to a hotel for a lovely meal, although walk is along a national speed zone, with grass verges for safety! We had a great 5 day stay and I would highly recommend a stay here. This was the second time of staying at Skylark and just as enjoyable. A lovely spacious property with the excellent views from the conservatory. Sheila the caretaker was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The Ship Inn in Weybourne was excellent with their takeaways which were very tasty and the staff were very organised with the collection of the food. We thoroughly enjoyed our little holiday at Sky Lark.
We thoroughly enjoyed our little holiday at Sky Lark. The cottage had plenty of character, was very comfortable, well equipped and clean. The sun room added that little extra space for dining and relaxing, and the property was always lovely and warm. Logs were available for the woodburner, which we had on every night, and we easily managed to get more from the local shop. The bunk bed room was a little on the small side for my elderly father (!), but he was cosy & warm. The local pub The Ship was excellent and very dog friendly ! The shop could have stocked more every day items, but fine for milk and a newspaper. Weybourne was in the perfect location for exploring the north Norfolk coast and we had a wonderful walk at Holkham on our only sunny day ! Sheringham is within easy reach for larger shops if required (and an excellent pub called The Lobster). Only recommendation for the cottage would be to put a small sign outside on the road, as it was a little difficult to locate the property at first. Parking was fine outside on the road, but would imagine it would be more of a challenge in high season when all the properties are occupied. We would most definitely book again. Thank you for a lovely holiday !

A great holiday with family - plenty of space to be comfortable. Age range was 6 - 71 and it was lovely to be able to 'get away' from each other whilst still being sociable. Wonderful view from the cottage and loads of walks for the children and dogs. Also plenty to do as most activities still open.

I stayed here about 8 years ago and loved the house and the village. It's so peaceful and relaxing, it feels like home from home. The kitchen is very well stocked with crockery, pots, pans, utensils etc. The view from the conservatory is fabulous and we saw muntjac, pheasants, rabbits plus lots of other birds. We bought a pair of binoculars with us which was also useful for watching the tanks from Muckleburgh Collection and the ships going past. The Ship pub is great but gets busy so book for food! One downside is that the double bed downstairs was very noisy and creaked whenever one of us turned over or got up. And the bedrooms could do with some updated furniture, it's very 80s. But apart from that everything was great.

This is a great little cottage and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here despite the stormy weather conditions at the time. Although dated, the cottage was warm and cosy (thanks to the log burner) and we had everything we needed - plenty of towels, hot water, extra blankets, loads of kitchen equipment etc, a full log basket, hand soap and dishwasher tablets... even down to jigsaws and games. The beds, though firm, were very comfortable and we all slept well. At breakfast we watched muntjac deer, hare and pheasants grazing in the field right in front of us with a beautiful sea view behind them! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place as long as you know what you are expecting, i.e not a throughly modern interior - it's quirky and charming - although everything was comfortable, clean and well equipped. We will definitely return and hopefully enjoy the cottage in better weather. We didn't find the shared/unfenced grounds a problem as we have been to other similar places with our dogs. We walked down the lane to the steep shingle beach (which was quite an experience in gale force winds) and could have walked for miles in each direction if it hadn't been for the weather. We enjoyed browsing the small shops in Sheringham and fish and chips at Mary Janes and a chocolate dipped ice cream from Windows (both just above the pier) in Cromer - fantastic, even in the British weather!

We had the most lovely long weekend at the cottage. We found the accommodation clean, warm, amazingly provided for, everything had been thought of, down to matches, wood for the fire, dishwasher tablets, all things you don't think of when packing!! A nice fire had been lit for us by the caretaker, who popped by to make sure all was good. The village was really quieter than I thought, but then again we never really went far as it was all so comfortable and we popped to Cromer and Holt and had a few walks down to the nearby beach. Excellent weekend x
