We have stayed at Brankley Cottage 5 times, previously 2 years ago.
We have stayed at Brankley Cottage 5 times, previously 2 years ago. There are a few small things that stop it from being its best. The bathroom shelves are rusty and the soap dish in the shower will not hold the soap as it is tilted. The clothes hangers are either old plastic ones or wire. The towel hook in the downstairs toilet is hanging off the wall. The kitchen chairs are extremely uncomfortable. The back door of the conservatory has to be closed by going in and outdoors. The information folder was very old and mucky. All these things were the same when we stayed 2 years ago, hopefully the owners have not become complacent as the Cottage is so frequently booked. A snooker cue in the games room was held together by tape. Having said all this the games room and swimming pool are very popular and we have booked for next year ! We had a great weekend.
We had a great weekend. The cottage is comfortable, spacious and well-equipped. We spent a lot of our stay around the big kitchen table eating, drinking and playing games as the weather was damp. The pool and jacuzzi area is beautiful and we enjoyed using it, although the jacuzzi was a little chilly. I’d recommend taking extra dishwasher tablets and tea towels, and also swimming towels. Many thanks for a very enjoyable stay!

The cottage was exactly what we were looking for, great location, quiet but close to visit Alton Tow
The cottage was exactly what we were looking for, great location, quiet but close to visit Alton Towers and Drayton Manor as well as many National Trust properties in the local area. The swimming pool was great for the kids and the property was really clean. We would definitely recommend Brankley Cottages to friends and family and we hope to visit again one day.

This is probably my 5th annual visit.
This is probably my 5th annual visit. My family love it, all three generations and a dog! The cottage is fab. Loads of space, well equipt and the pool is great. If asked to find criticism, I would say that the beds could be more comfortable (more solid) and it would benefit from a more thorough clean. However it’s not a massive moan. Location is great. Its surrounded by miles of farm land and woodlands. There’s loads to do within a short drive. For kids I recommend National Forest adventure farm and Thomas Land. For adults, Barton marina has a lovely deli, a few restaurants and a couple of boutique shops. Little India restaurant has some very yummy food. We will be back next year.
