Fantastic cottage for a lovely countryside get away.
Fantastic cottage for a lovely countryside get away. We booked the cottage for 8 adults and 2 infants. The cottage itself was very spacious, with enough seating for all of us..which can be difficult to find in other places we have visited. It was very clean and had everything you could need, including a bbq and a table tennis table in the garage which was a great touch. The garden was excellent for the little ones to toddle around and was a great space for a family bbq. It was only a 30 minute drive from Chester zoo which was a great Family day out. I would definitely return and will be recommending to family and friends. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

A lovely house with a large garden and we were made very welcome by the owner.
A lovely house with a large garden and we were made very welcome by the owner. Only 3 problems - we had very young children with us and the upstairs casement windows did not lock or have restrictors fitted, luckily we were able to concoct temporary restrictors using tough string. The shower in the en-suite is past its best, but the main bathroom shower was very good. The garage was advertised as a wet weather play area, but it had not been used for some time so smelt very damp, but the weather was kind to us and we did not need it. We had a lovely holiday there and it was perfect for our large family to visit family living in the area.

This 4 bedroom house is amazingly spacious.
This 4 bedroom house is amazingly spacious. Big rooms. Many windows so nice and light. Huge dining room and table. We had 10 round it on Bank holiday. Enough crockery, cutlery, pans, chairs and mugs and glasses for everyone. Large kitchen with big fridge/ freezer, washer, dryer and dishwasher. Kitchen table also seated 8. Downstairs toilet. Huge sitting room with 3 sofas, tv, DVD player and radio. Upstairs lovely bathroom with bark AND shower cubicle. Another bedroom with en suite and 3 further bedrooms. Many cupboards, wardrobes and coat hangers. Everyone had a bedside light. The beds were really comfortable. Even 2 hairdryers. Pity the large windows only had thin curtains as much too light at 5.30 am. Large garden to sit in and the children to play in. Also games and toys in the garage. Parking for at least 3 cars. The owner on hand if you needed him.
