This was a great little single storey property for two people.

This was a great little single storey property for two people. Good sized lounge/diner with two sofas and a small dining table plus a relatively small TV with a DVD player with a good selection of DVDs. Lots of books available as well. Separate well equiped kitchen . Nice garden at the back. Bed was a standard double. Only downside was location. About half a mile from the village of Clarbeston Road which has a pub that does meals on some nights each week, though we did not try it as we self-catered, and 10 minutes drive to Haverfordwest, so it took a while to get to any of the main tourist spots - Tenby, St Davids, Pembroke etc. However, this is reflected in the asking price as properties nearer the popular resorts were a lot more expensive. A friendly host who lives in a separate property on the same site, so handy if there are any issues/questions. We had no regrets in having chosen this property, and the weather was great as well! We were impressed with the cottage (bungalow with 1 bedroom) and the location - it is ideal for walk

We were impressed with the cottage (bungalow with 1 bedroom) and the location - it is ideal for walking and has lots of open space to exercise dogs. The local pub is very welcoming and keeps their beer very well! The only real negative is the absence of a local shop, which apparently closed down about 3 years ago at least. However, Haverfordwest is within easy driving distance and has a good selection of stores where one can stock up with supplies and almost all major sightseeing attractions are within 45 - 50 minutes drive from the property. The owners live in the main house and are extremely helpful and friendly without being in any way intrusive. Al in all a very enjoyable break in beautiful countryside.

Excellent cottage very cosy, comfortable and very clean with everything you need in a good location

Excellent cottage very cosy, comfortable and very clean with everything you need in a good location to get out and about. Lovely private garden, ideal if you have a dog with access to a 2acre field if required. The nearest largest town is Haversfordwest which is 4 miles away and the local pub about a 1 mile. We would thoroughly recommend Ty Clyd to all concerned
