We absolutely loved our time at Brook View.
We absolutely loved our time at Brook View. The lodge was lovely, the kitchen really well equipped and the living spaces comfortable and specious. The hot tub was amazing, private and had beautiful views. The only drawbacks were that the shower pressure is poor and the wifi comes and goes. There is a local Tesco and some lovely pubs about a 10 min drive away and our dog very much enjoyed the gorgeous walks. The owner is really kind and helpful. We've been to lots of lovely places, but this is the first time we've come home with real holiday blues - can't wait to go back again. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

What a gem! Absolutely lovely, we stayed in Brook View which was very secluded and peaceful.
What a gem! Absolutely lovely, we stayed in Brook View which was very secluded and peaceful. Sheep right outside made the say very authentic! Hot-tub was such a good bonus, great in the evenings and crisp mornings. The lodge had everything you could need for a lovely stay, very cosy and homely. Only thing in the lodge was the lack of wifi... but we didn't go away to sit on our phones so wasn't that much of an issue. There were even board games in the cupboard ( little extras that made our stay so lovely) The lodge was spotless and very roomy, there was only the 2 of us and our dog so we have plenty of space The location is perfect, loads of great river/ field walks. Great if you have gone away with a dog, ours loved it! some lovely villages near with little quirky shops/ restaurants and pubs. 2 highlights for us was the Elan Valley and Devils Bridge/ waterfalls. THEY ARE A MUST! Our host was so lovely and couldn't do enough for us, we mixed up our dates ( totally our error) and she went out of her way to clean the other lodge so we could stay an extra night. Could not ask for anything better Will definitely be returning and will bring some guests with us next to to share the lovely experience. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

What an amazing place.
What an amazing place. Very peaceful. If you live in the city and you need to getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life this cottage is the one. Great hot tub, amazing view and lovely clean air. Truly a beautiful spot to relax and get away from everything and everyone. Only negative during our stay was, the WiFi did not work at all during the whole time we were there and local phone network (Vodafone) did not have any reception at all. The lodge was nice had everything you need, the only thing that let this down was the cleaning.
The lodge was nice had everything you need, the only thing that let this down was the cleaning. We noticed the bathroom bin was still fall when we arrived. Also a few fly's in the lodger we found a cooked crumpet in the toaster and dead skin sells on the bed as the mattress moved away from the sides. No hoover for us to clean ourselves only brushes. The bathroom sink is allowing water to splash when you wash your hands and flow over the back and onto the walls and floor which is allowing mildew to build. The best bit about the lodge was the hot tub and its remoteness. We loved the area for walking but the cleanliness let it down with the bits we found.
