Had a great half term break.

Had a great half term break. Cottage is perfectly placed within 10m of two pubs. The village has a couple of tea rooms, a deli and a village shop as well. Loads of great walks from the village, and right in the heart of the Dales. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

A lovely spacious, comfortable cottage in a beautiful & convenient area. Great value for money. Would however benefit from a second wardrobe & an airer. Would definitely stay again. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Fabulous Week, despite the weather!

We arrived to the property amid Storm Dennis, to find it very warm and cosy (essential given the timing!!) clean and with everything we needed to settle straight in. Kitchen has everything you need, loads of games and puzzles for wet days, plenty of space for socialising and bedrooms all very comfortable. A really great cottage in a lovely village - 3 pubs (all fantastic) and plenty of walks in the local area.

Ideal Location

If you like walking Inglenook,Kettlewell is ideally placed for gentle valley walks or strenuous over the tops routes There are plenty of pubs, a shop and Grassington is not far away for cafes restaurants and more shops. The beds were superb and the house had decent equipment in the kitchen so some adventurous cooking was easy. We will stay again.

Pleased that cleaner informed the office immediately that we had left a mobile phone behind when we departed. Plumbing a bit eccentric; hot taps turning the wrong way were confusing and dangerous. All old beams were fake !

The cottage is comfortable and lots of room for 6 people .

The cottage is comfortable and lots of room for 6 people . We spent a lovely walking holiday there.,A few things would have made our stay even Better. The shower had to be cleaned of an unpleasant blockage so that the water could flow down the drain . Unfortunately, there was no shower Attachment in the bathroom , so that all of us had to use one shower . There was also only one toilet brush for toilets. The kitchen was very well- stocked in general but there were only four wineglasses and five eggcups for 6 if us . These are small things which could easily remedied.

Had a lovely week in this cottage, very clean and comfortable with practically everything you could need (apart from a lemon squeezer - but there is one now!) The only thing I would mention is that, as other reviewers have pointed out, the garden is very small. This isn't a problem at all, except that on the booking sites it is explicitly listed as 'large garden' so if you hadn't read all the reviews you would feel cheated. Also parking for up to two cars is in the village car park, not outside the cottage as stated. Otherwise the only thing I would change would be a curtain over the large glass front porch area, otherwise at night you feel like you are on reality TV when people stare in as they walk past!
