Just 20 minutes from Roman Chester and 10 minutes from the beautiful Delamere Forest, this cosy cottage, in the owner’s grounds, is an ideal holiday base to explore Cheshire, Chester and Manchester. Chester Zoo, Oulton Park Racing Circuit, Arley Hall, Tatton Park and Beeston Castle nearby; countryside walks from the door. Golf and fishing nearby. Shops 2 miles and pub ½ mile.

Overall we enjoyed our stay.
Overall we enjoyed our stay. The location was good for our requirements and the cottage was lovely and warm. The beds were very comfortable but unfortunately I did find the foam mattress a bit hot during the night. There were a couple of areas where I don't think that the cleanliness was as it should be. The cottage is absolutely beautiful, the photos don’t really do it justice. Our kids loved sleeping in the eves which were much bigger than we expected. The garden is huge with a tree swing, football goals and a tennis court, all of which we loved. The owner (Kemper and family) also couldn’t have been more helpful. Owners were helpful and friendly while at the same time despite the closeness of the properties they left us to our own devices. They were always there should we need their assistance. Excellent position for touring the area and enabled us to visit Manchester and Chester easily and there are many places of interest around. The cottage had everything needed for the two of us and was warm and comfortable.
