Unsere einsame Insel!
Ein rundherum tolles Haus. Die ersten Minuten haben wir damit verbracht zu staunen und uns zu freuen! Eine wunderschöne Woche, wir wären gerne länger geblieben.

Beautiful and remote cottage
We loved our visit here and were sad to drive away today . The views from the living room and bedrooms are stunning and we even spotted a seal in the water! Furniture and bedding were very comfortable and stylish. Kitchen was very well equipped, but there were a few dining options in nearby Dunvegan if you don’t feel like cooking. The owners have done a fantastic job renovating this cottage and would love to come back on our next visit to the island. Thank you for a perfect stay in this beautiful part of Skye!

7 Greep was the perfect setting to spend a Christmas away from everything.
7 Greep was the perfect setting to spend a Christmas away from everything. Remote enough to enjoy the peace, but close enough to the main road and local village for when you needed to get out. The house is very well equipped and finished to a high standard. The large windows in the lounge make the stunning view feel part of the house. Some areas could have been a little cleaner as other guests have also suggested, or in general the property benefit from a deep clean, and again as other guests have suggested one of the sofas is in need of new cushions or perhaps changing. This did not detract from the experience and we would certainly love to stay at 7 Greep again. Skye is highly recommended as a destination!

Stunning property with amazing views.
Stunning property with amazing views. Overall cleanliness is poor though. Stains in carpets, cobwebs, no instruction that the key was in the side door, needs surface space in the upstairs double and more hanging space in the downstairs double. There is no surface space in the bathroom sufficient for multiple persons so we took a chair up there. There were hairs under the bathroom sink and a wet face cloth in the bathroom cupboard. There is black mould in the grout behind the taps.

Perfect place to get away from it all and loads of views.
Perfect place to get away from it all and loads of views. The house is big enough for 6 people, although we were only a couple, and had all the necessary equipment and utensils. We would have liked some more cupboard space but this didn’t detract from our enjoyment. The beds were spacious and comfortable and the shower was excellent. The road to the property had some pot holes but we soon got used to it. The gem though was the location and view. The caretaker was on hand but also left us to just enjoy the week.

Fantastic location.
Fantastic location. Incredible views. Peaceful and a special place to be. Surprising for the price to have no soap in the bathrooms or kitchen, no attempt at a ‘welcome pack’, and sofas which had very much seen better days. That said, it is a special property in a beautiful part of Skye which is not over-run with visitors. It’s a spacious property with great views.

Amazing location and fantastic cottage for our third year staying at Greep.
Amazing location and fantastic cottage for our third year staying at Greep. Minor points of Rayburn not usable and no door knob on front door but these are minor things which are easily remedied. The facilities are always clean and spacious. The best place to stay in our opinion

The cottage is in the most idyllic setting and has all facilities that ensure a comfortable stay.
The cottage is in the most idyllic setting and has all facilities that ensure a comfortable stay. If you are looking to get away from it all, this is your place. About 50 minutes drive to Portree where the larger shops are. The local amenities are what is to be expected in such a rural setting. WiFi worked great with a fire stick, phones and tablets whilst there. Great to see a new waterfall shower fitted, cottage obviously cared for and updated when needed. The access road is bumpy but again it is the countryside and good luck getting the local council to fix roads which access approximately 10 residential properties. Amazing base for exploring the island, have a read through the provided information folder, some great walks and trips we would recommend. Stayed there twice and the third is booked!

This is our 2nd Easter at Greep with our family.
This is our 2nd Easter at Greep with our family. A well maintained and modern loch side cottage in a private location. The cottage has been extended into the attached barn with south facing picture window to Loch Vatten and the snow tipped mountains beyond. Quiet and peaceful and tastefully furnished. Good size for 6 plus a baby. Warm with underfloor heating and a wood burning stove. Two bathrooms. Shops in Dunvegan 3 miles to north for food etc. Downside - the private road to the property has large potholes so a high ride height and good suspension required...or a company car! Plenty on Skye to keep all interested. Good pubs. Boat trips out of Uig and Elgol are great. Try the Oystershed at Carbost for food or the Edinbane Inn. Super distilleries at Talisker and Torabhaig and a lovely micro brewery at Sligachan. Stunning scenery all round but the Quiraing and Old Man of Storr are fabulous and offer great walks with rewarding vistas.
