If you are prepared to trek the 5 miles (25minutes) along a very rough track from the main road, you will be rewarded with the most spectacular setting. In the evenings we watched golden eagles and sea eagles and enjoyed the magnificent sunsets. We were very fortunate in having a week of excellent weather in October...not guaranteed at this time of year. The house is perfect for children, lots of toys and games indoors and swings and enclosed space outdoors. One particular aspect for disabled guests should be noted however. The wetroom was quite dark and there were no grabrails at all meaning my husband had to be helped on and off the loo. There are no shelves for toiletries and the shaver point was too high to reach from a wheelchair and was not even accessible to plug in our toothbrush. Potential guests should also note that use of the hot tub incurs an additional £100/week. The house was quite expensive to rent but, although very nice, there was lots of chipped glass/crockery and the boot room and one bedroom were cold, with no instructions regarding use of the room thermostats. Although reasonably clean, there was some previous guest's sock lying under a bed and a dirty glass inside one of the bedside tables. It is also the responsibility of guests to remove all their rubbish to a disposal area some considerable distance from the house. Despite these points we enjoyed our stay in this beautiful area of Argyll and Bute.

Probably the nicest holiday let we have ever stayed in the UK. The house was perfect for two families with plenty of space, immaculately clean and very well presented with every conceivable extra in the most stunning private location with views to die for. 5 miles off the main road down a single track road skirting the loch with amazing views at every turn. Wildlife everywhere, stunning night skies - magical!

A beautiful farmhouse with amazing views - however it is located at the end of a single track road which is in very bad condition-loads of potholes and it is not for the faint hearted with blind bends and summits. It is not suitable for sporty/low vehicles
