In many ways a lovely cottage but the master bedroom has tricky access.

In many ways a lovely cottage but the master bedroom has tricky access. In addition 2 of our group felt wheezy because it is an old property. Garden is lovely but no washing line.

Wonderful cottage.

Wonderful cottage. Loved the quirkiness due to its age. Nice to have the historical information in the information book. Great garden - certainly secure enough for 2 whippets. Lovely walk straight from the cottage up Smugglers Lane to the fields at the back where we spotted hare and deer - have to be up early for those. (Warning for dog owners - there are ticks up there so make sure you bring a tick removal tool with you). The locals are very friendly and chatty. We were lucky with the weather and had a superb week.

The cottage has a large quiet garden which is lovely to sit out in and fantastic for dogs The location was close to many places to visit including the lovely seaside town of Aldeburgh Appreciate the age of the cottage, however the bedding was in a poor state (stained quilts, old pillows and torn mattress covers) Sheets and towels were fine. The cottage was lacking a deep clean (annex was cleaner) - freezer in fridge frozen up, stained carpet in living area and cobwebs, dust which were more than just due to being an old building. The hedge at the front desperately needed cutting and caused very poor visibility when leaving the parking area and blocked any view to the right With some loving care, I would highly recommend this cottage as it had potential to achieve 10 out of 10
