Beautiful setting, really peaceful, very good location for visiting surrounding areas
Very nice cottage, with everything we needed to enjoy our stay . We had just one problem which was both ends of cottage bedrooms did not have adequate bedding ie the quilts were too thin , our son, our granddaughter, our grandson and partner hardly slept because they were so cold , the middle of the cottage was fine

Had a lovely 3 night stay. Wonderful location with walks from the door. Pub and shop 20 mins walk away either over fields or via road. 3 bathrooms a real bonus. Good outdoor space, very doggy friendly. No complaints at all, ate planning another stay!

Quiet good location.
Ideal location. Good sized property for six people. . Little fenced off area with garden bench. Would be good to use in nice weather if you have small children and dogs. Larger door mat would be ideal as needed to mop the floor every time dogs and people came in. It was wet outside though. Cottage had everything we needed. Excellent value.

Lovely country cottage
We enjoyed our stay here with our family for a birthday celebration. The cottage was exactly what we wanted, traditional and cosy and dog friendly! Perfectly situated for walks. Would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable and quiet
I deliberately chose this cottage because it offered (unusually) a walk-in shower and an enclosed garden. The cottage sleeps six and therefore seemed inexpensive so I didn't have expectations of luxury. In the end, I was pleasantly surprised a the level of comfort. On arrival, heat greeted us from central-heating radiators and there was a large jug of milk in the fridge and home-made cookies on the table. In addition to normal cooking facilities, the cottage comes equipped with a microwave, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. Two comfortable sofas and a firm bed enabled us to relax in the evening after days walking our socks (and paws) off. True, there was no wi-fi but, courtesy of the hotspot on our phones, we managed to stay connected. The lovely old stripped oak furniture in the bedrooms might not be to everyone's taste, but it very definitely suited us! Dog walks on the doorstep were a definite bonus. The cottage might suit a party of active adults or a family on a budget.
