Nice break marred by slight problems
Not quite as it looked in the advert . The outside table and chairs give the impression you can sit out in a courtyard ..it's actually the drive up to the other property's . The next property was occupied by seven lads on a stag weekend who all came in there cars , therefore nowhere to park for our two cars .the weekend was also marred by the taxi turning up at the lads accommodation with a young lady in what can only be described as as nurses outfit and heels ... Not what we expected when we booked a quiet weekend break

Shared bathroom billed as having "shower over bath" but there is no fixing on the wall for the handset, so not a proper shower. Some saucepans and crockery were not properly clean on arrival. The bed linen whilst clean was rather "tired". The local information was far short of what we have had at other cottages in - no information about the rubbish recycling and other local information was out of date and very limited. Commercial brochures in a big box is no substitute for personal local information.

The accommodation was excellent, if you are looking for a quite peaceful holiday then this is the ideal spot. We had plenty of space and even though there was 8 of us we were never under each other’s feet. I spoke with the owners whilst on site and they were very helpful. We stopped in and cooked a few nights, the facilities on site were ideal for cooking with plenty of pots and pan, cutlery and plates. On other nights we ate out with plenty of good food available within easy reach. I have no problem recommending this accommodation to any one.

We had a very enjoyable weekend stay at Grisedale Coach House. the place was spacious, having three en-suite bedrooms was particularly helpful, with three boys of 1-6 years in our party. We would have appreciated provision of some toiletries, and perhaps a selection of DVD's. The setting was really nice, with Grassington down the road, and Skipton 15 mins in the car.

Couple of very minor details by way of constructive criticism: the kitchen equipment is massively skewed towards baking/roasting at the expense of basic pans (two enormous ones and two small ones) but this is easily rectifiable and the owners may well have sorted it out by the time anyone reads this. I'd also say that it's not quite clear on the description and photos that this cottage has very little (i.e. practically no) garden space compared to its smaller neighbours. On the other hand, it was really great for what we wanted it for i.e. a place for lots of family to meet and dine together, with a superb, enormous central combined living, dining and kitchen area: perfect! :-) . The bedrooms are pleasant and cosy, the location wonderful and we had a great time. Excellent value for money all things considered.

We were very pleased with the beautiful location, amazing setting.
We were very pleased with the beautiful location, amazing setting. The accommodation also was excellent. The spacious living room and kitchen space were ideal. Having four bedrooms and three bathrooms was perfect as there were seven of us all together. The parking also was adequate. The only downfall was that there was no WiFi. But that is not really a criticism , but the young ones we were with were disappointed. But overall, we were very pleased. We had the bonus of beautiful weather. Many Thanks the Morgan Family.
