There is plenty to do in the area, with Arundel close by, famous for its castle, lanes with artefacts, books and antique shops, plus Wildfowl and Wetlands Wildlife Centre, Pulborough Brooks RSPB and popular beaches at The Witterings, Worthing and Bognor. Also the easy driving distance to Chichester with its cathedral, festival theatre, leisure facilities and Goodwood or Fontwell Races, or Midhurst with Cowdray Polo and shops. There are many scenic walks including in the South Downs National Park.
