" Lakeview Cottage " Short walk to the bay and bike trails

This well maintained single family ranch home is situated in front of a beautiful lake. Walk to the bay and enjoy a memorable sunset or drive to the gorgeous beaches of Cape May. Experience the great restaurants, shop the mall and antique stores, have fun taking a carriage ride along the Historic Streets of Cape May. The zoo is a short drive as well as the Wildwood Boardwalk and waterparks.
Shed includes; beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys. Bikes are not provided. The Ponderlodge Wildlife Reserve is around the corner from our home. Take a short walk to enjoy the walking trails, fishing, and quietness this area has to offer.

Weekly rentals only in June, July, and August.

Great place near Cape May

Clean house comfy couches and beds. Short drive to cape May and quick walk to Delaware bay beaches. Next street over was a walking trail cox creek I believe it’s called. Overall perfect!

Midweek stay

Our multi generational family had a very comfortable stay here. Lisa was great to work with. The house had lots of amenities (especially beach stuff) and plenty of room. There are so many choices for where to eat your meals inside and out in this house. We took short walks to the beach in the morning and at sunset but spent our beach time on the ocean side since the kids were older. It was a good base for that and to visit Wild wood and Cape May zoo, etc…

Perfection

We were a group of four adults and the space is perfect size Plenty of room. The enclosed deck and private fenced back yard are great! Will consider returning with our dog for sure! Neighborhood quiet and nice. Great bike trails nearby. Didn’t know about them right away but a friendly neighbor let us know! Easy drive or walk to bay. Plenty of things nearby to do and places to eat are plentiful! Loved being so close to so. Many things. Kitchen well stocked. No complaints at all!

Pleasant and comfortable family getaway

We encountered no issues or problems with our stay. Everything was as described. Some things were a little outdated, but in good working order. If you're looking for a nice house close to the beach, but not too close, this is a good one.

We enjoyed our week in the Villas. Super clean property and many amenities for comfort! Would definitely recommend. Property owners quickly responded with a minor lock box issue.

Great Seashore Rental!

The house was very clean and the decorations were adorable! I felt very much at home. Plenty of room for my family! My dog had a nice fenced yard. Lots of supplies and chairs in the shed. I couldn’t be more pleased. All Good! Thanks Lisa and Jack

Always a pleasure!

This is my second year staying at this Home on the Lake. Still spik and span clean. They added a fence in the backyard which was fantastic for the dog and the deck is great. I always bring my own Roku when I travel so I get all my TV subscriptions and the Wi-Fi is great. I really want to thank the owner Lisa for pleasantly dealing with me when I realized I missed the last installment and ended up paying it the day before the stay. Good place and people. Thanks!

Perfect holiday weekend retreat

Our stay was wonderful! My family and and our friend from Seattle thoroughly enjoyed our weekend getaway at Lake View Cottage. It's on a quiet residential street, in walking distance to the beach and nature preserve and a short drive to many great activities and restaurants. The house is clean with nice beachy decor. You could spend your entire stay (and we mostly did) on the covered deck. It was very relaxing. The hosts responded to any questions right away. My daughters want to make this cottage an annual tradition.

Great location

Had a great time at the beach last week! It is a short walk to the bay for morning strolls or sitting on the sand to watch the beautiful sunsets. It is also easy to get to Cape May, Wildwood, and even Stone Harbor. The home was welcoming and very comfortable. My favorite part was the outdoor shower, of course. Thank you for a fantastic week!

Super Spot

You never know what your going to get in a rental. This one is a gem. New beds, great AC, bikes, bay access. Off the beaten path so quite and relaxing after a days outing. This was one place I could say; i wouldn’t mind living here! Master bedroom was huge with own bath. Thanks Lisa had a great time.

Love this house

This is the second year we have stayed at this property and we love it. Before we leave we're already starting to plan our next stay here. I do wish the two smaller bedrooms had better lighting but otherwise this property is spot on! Highly recommend staying here

Great Rental Property

Rented this house for the Labor Day weekend plus a couple of extra days. Had my wife, daughter and son-in-law. We have been coming to Cape May for about five years. First time staying at this home since the previous properties owner raised the rents by exactly 40%. This area was very quiet. Not a lot of traffic. Home is well laid out and nicely equipped. Thanks.

Perfect size

This was the perfect size for four adults. Other places you feel like you can’t get any quiet time, but this was great. Nice side deck. Loved having two bathrooms. Some enjoyed walking to bay to see sunsets. Can’t really swim in bay because the water was rough and muddy but nice to park a beach chair and just chill out. No complaints with this rental experience. There is also a community pool in lower township for a quick afternoon swim.

Wonderful!

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. The house was clean and spacious. We loved the lake and visited the ducks and geese every day. The porch was nice to sit and enjoy the view of the lake. The house is close (10-20 min) from shops, beaches, and the zoo. The neighborhood is very quiet. We enjoyed going to the bay every evening for the sunsets. Thank you for opening your home to us.

Relaxing

This was the first time we stayed on the Bayside of Cape May. We found it very quiet and relaxing the small beach was not crowded and the kids enjoyed the fact that they could run on the beach and enjoy the space.
