Diogo and Ana exchanged the hustle and bustle of the City for the peace and quiet of the secular Mata Pequena Village. Set in a surprisingly preserved landscape, they set to work to rescue her from the state of ruin she was in. And they wanted to share it with you!

The idea was to strictly respect the identity of each of the houses, from their architecture, the building materials used, to the furniture, while providing them with all the comfort and living conditions of our days. Officially awarded and acclaimed in the media, Aldeia da Mata Pequena is today one of the rare examples of the traditional architecture of the Saloia Region.

Mafra with its imposing Palace (only 8km), Ericeira Beach (15km) and World Heritage Sintra (less than 20km) are some of the must-see places.

In each house you will find local products for your breakfast and the Mafra Bread, baked in a wood oven, is delivered, still steaming, every morning at your doorstep.

If you don't feel like cooking at home or take the car to a restaurant, you can always use Tasquinha da Aldeia and enjoy the traditional snacks prepared for you.
