Perfect getaway.

This cabin and location are awesome. It was very clean and orderly. There was a lot of games to play. The decor was great and the hiking part behind the cabin was really beautiful. The communication was quick and pleasant. We will likely be visiting again in the future.

Cabin in the woods

Loved the cabin and surrourdings. Lots of wildlife. We even heard elk bugling. The hot water wasnt quite hot enough, makes it c hard to get clean dishes, maybe they to bump it up for winter. If it was a little more handicapped friedly would stay again.

Fantastic cabin to escape

This cabin was the perfect getaway for my girlfriend and I over a long weekend. Small and rustic with an incredible ambiance of nature right outside with all of the comforts needed to make full meals and enjoy some time to relax in front of the TV after a hike. Hosts were very attentive and pleasant to communicate with and the property is incredible.

Twin Rock Cabin

This was one of my favorite VRBO stays. The cabin was very clean, had all the comforts of home, and we loved the furnishings and decorations. But the best thing was the waterfall out back - we spent numerous hours sitting out there just enjoying the experience. We also enjoyed sitting up on the rocks watching the sun sets. The cabin was convenient to nearby eating places - we ate in Divide and Green Mountain Falls, and there were lots of activities to do. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Excellent

The place was amazing, exactly like the description. The best part was the waterfall that ran continuously & you could hear it when the windows were open or closed. The only thing that we didn’t like no description as to how to open the shades in the front of the house. Beautiful place and rocks were majestic.

Great little cabin

My daughter and I had a great time and the cabin was very neat and cute. There was a bunch of snow so we didn't get a chance to explore around the cabin but we had a great time driving around and seeing the local sights. 11 mile Canyon and Wilkerson pass at sunset were a hit. Also enjoyed the nice little restaurants in Divide - Russ's and McGinty's Pub on St. Patricks Day!

About the host

Hosted by David & Renee Rusterholtz

Host profile image
We grew up in Pennsylvania and New York State, but loved to take vacations in the West. In 2003 , we moved to the beautiful state of Colorado. We love the mountains, the Pines and the fresh air. It's like heaven on earth.

Why they chose this property

This is a very unique piece of property because of the landscape and beautiful landmark rock formations. It calls you to explore and imagine.

What makes this property unique

We love the Western culture and our Cabin is filled with decor from the West that takes you back to what the great American West is all about. From the Leather living room furniture to the rustic wood furniture and floors, we didn't cut corners decorating in a way that is appealing to both women and men. A taste of authentic western style. You'll enjoy hiking around the property and through the unique Pikes Peak granite rock formations. At this time we ask that you do not climb up to the very top. We are not responsible for falls, injuries or worse. There are great views of Pikes Peak from several places on the property.
