The home proudly faces Merrivale Garden Square and Port Meadow and captures picturesque views of the Oxford canal from the property’s rear. The area is quiet, family friendly yet a stone throw away from Jericho’s high street (Walton Well Road) alive with boutique shops, excellent restaurants, bars and cinema.

This architect designed 3 story, 3 double bedroom, 3 bathroom town house is guaranteed to impress! The home has been renovated to high-end specification creating luxury living on all levels, with an abundance of natural light throughout. The ground level comprises of a relaxing reading room with gas fireplace, guest WC and a hallway that extends to a fully extended kitchen and dining room with floor to ceiling bi-fold glass doors, leading to a landscaped garden by Chelsea award winning designer, Sarah Naybour.

The state-of-the art kitchen has stunning Corian worktops, full length Corian island and breakfast bar with stunning porcelain tiles throughout, leading seamlessly onto the patio and garden path. The second floor has 2 beautiful double bedrooms. There's an en-suite and a main bathroom on this floor. The luxurious modern bathrooms have under floor heating and heated mirrors. The 3rd floor provides the wow factor - Master bedroom with en-suite, high ceilings with dormer window that creates a feeling of space and tranquility as it looks over the lovely rear garden and picturesque views over the Oxford canal.

One reserved off road parking space is available and a second parking space can also be organised, but please let us know at the time of booking so we can arrange it.

This is a really popular property so we often have guests checking in on the same day as you depart but we may be able to accommodate a late check-out but please check with us so that we can confirm if this is possible for you.

Great stay in a wonderful house

This is undoubtedly the best equipped house that we have stayed in. The location was brilliant with lots of restaurants near by. About a 30 minute easy walk into the centre of Oxford either along the canal or local streets. We had a wonderful stay and the property hosts were extremely helpful. The house was spacious and accommodated six adults with ease. We would all wholeheartedly recommend this property for a stay in Oxford.

Fantastic property and fantastic hosts!

This is a great property. The description and photos are accurate so let me tell you a few extra things. First, this is a great area of Oxford (I was born in Oxford so know it well). Very central, close to Port Meadow and great pubs, and also really nice neighbours. Our kids were playing with the neighbours and being invited to parties within 48 hours. Second, hosts are great. We had a question about a radiator which wouldn’t switch off and there was a plumber there in 20 minutes. Third, space is great for hosting small parties and there are lots of glasses and plates. One thing to be aware of is that the excellent insulation and east facing windows means that the house can get hot in unseasonable weather (it was over 30 degrees for much of our stay). However, that’s a very rare situation in Oxford and we’d book again very happily.

Perfect stay in Oxford

From the beginning of our experience with this accommodation, everything was perfect. Francesca is the most generous and accommodating host and she offered flexibility of timing whenever possible. The house was in pristine condition and gorgeous. In design it is a perfect blend of state-of-the art modern and cozy comfort. Sleeping was extremely comfortable; the kitchen had everything one could possible need - and more; the neighbourhood was quiet and a pleasant 10 minute walk to Jericho (20 minutes to the heart of Oxford). Francesca made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed - in this area, she went above and beyond expectations and we are people of high expectations. In fact, our stay at this house was one of the highlights of our trip to Oxford.

Great place in Oxford

We spent 3 wonderful nights in this beautiful townhome in Jericho in Oxford It was bright and clean and well appointed. Very spacious with every amenity we could have wanted. Francesca welcomed us and was so very helpful. Very close to the Jericho downtown and also to the Oxford Canal for a lovely scenic walk. Bedrooms were large and comfortable and the bathrooms and kitchen were large, clean and recently renovated. Highly recommend this home.

Wonderful experience!

Beautifully maintained, high end features in very centralized location. The ease of location while attending local wedding made this property an ideal choice. Large, roomy & very clean, this was an oasis during a very busy visit. Would book again in an instant!

Very clean, well maintained and nicely stocked with amenities from cereal to electrical adapters. These folks really aim to please and make your stay a wonderful one. Loved the huge open space public meadow just a two minute walk away.

Great central location and excellent property

There was nothing to dislike about the property. It is designed and maintained to a very high standard and our host (Francesca) was so incredibly thoughtful and helpful. She provides all the essentials you would need so you literally can turn up and start your break without any fuss. The space downstairs is built around the big open plan kitchen and is ideal for cooking and socialising, with a second smaller room if you want some additional space. Both areas have their own TV. The bedrooms are a really good size and there are three bathrooms. They all had toiletries provided and hairdryers in each room. The house gets plenty of light and you can open up the doors fully downstairs to enjoy the outside space. The location is great, you can easily get into the city centre and cabs are reasonably priced if you need one. Check in was easy and flexible, Francesca worked around our needs and made it easy for us to contact her. We stayed for a long weekend and were really pleased with the property. Six of us stayed and it felt like we had plenty of space. The location was quiet, with parking close by. We would certainly stay here again.

Stunning

From the very beginning of the booking process this had all the hallmarks of being a very professional letting and indeed nothing throughout disappointed. From the information provided prior to arrival, to the check in process, it was all of a very high standard and very friendly and helpful. The house itself is situated in a very convenient location for access to Oxford and all the sights. It has been beautifully and tastefully renovated and the bedding, towels and facilities are of a high standard. It was very clean and tidy and had tea, coffee, chocolates and toilet paper to last throughout. All of which makes a huge difference when staying somewhere for a few days. The owners were also very helpful with information for the local area, which meant to say we had a great walk along the Thames and through Port Meadows and a stop at a local recommended pub. Thank you again for letting us stay in your home. I cannot recommend this house highly enough.
