My son and I stayed at the rental for a soccer tournament.
Perfect location-beautiful property-clean house!
We will stay here again next year if we make it to the tournament.
Nice little guest house near the maln house in Lakeland. We stayed for 4 days while visiting family in the area. We had everything we needed and the property manager was quick to answer any questions we had. We had breakfast at this guesthouse and then left for most of the day. It was perfect for us! Great location!

Great Location for us
The manor house and the small house where we stayed is in a beautiful neighborhood and very close to the family we were visiting. The small house was bigger than we expected but it needs some TLC. There were cleaning supplies but it lacked a decent vacuum and extra linens; a full length mirror would also have been nice. The price was good, no complaints there, but it could have been a touch cleaner. We would try to stay there again because of the location.
Lovely peaceful location. House had the amenities we needed. 4 night stay and it was no more and no less than what we needed. Used stove, coffee maker, fridge and pool. Pool could use a little attention but we enjoyed it anyway. Quiet and relaxing. Trip was for college drop off. Owner extremely responsive and available!
Stayed here with my 2 teenagers. Needed a place while attending a sports competition in Lakeland for my daughter. Great central location for all our activities for the week. Just perfect.
This was our second stay and we were so happy to return. The house is always clean; well stocked and just the right size. The location cannot be beat. Wonderful host, easy access and great privacy. Will stay here every chance we get; it’s truly the perfect vacation home for our little trips. If you’re on the fence about this place vs any other - this is where you want to be!! 10/10 will always recommend :)
Everything about this house was exceptional. Clean, attractive house on stunning property! Felt like home, and the kids (7+5) were really happy, too. If we ever get the chance to return, we would in a heartbeat!
Very private and quiet. Out of the beat and path, but close enough to everything to be convenient. Very comfortable.

We had a pleasant stay. The house was small but very comfortable. It would be perfect for a couple on a getaway trip. We were greeted by relaxing music, dimmed lights and air conditioning. The owners were very nice. We definitely would stay there again if the occasion arises.

The property was beautiful! Peaceful, safe, clean, well equipped and comfortable. The owners were amazing and responded promptly. I had complete privacy and I would definitely stay there again. Thank you for such a perfect time.
It was the perfect size and the perfect spot for what we needed. It was just 2 of us and we were there for a baseball tournament in Auburndale. The kitchen was well equipped, the ceiling fans were wonderful, the bathroom was a nice size and the king bed was fantastic. Just down the road from the Lakeland Highland Scrub and a sidewalk across the street. TV in the bedroom was nice. Owners on property were very quiet. Beautiful area.
Secure, gated entrance for this Guest House located with larger home in this 5-acre compound. Property currently for sale, owner has moved.
Everything here for a couple, add two small kids in a pinch. Located close to Bartow (15 minutes), Mulberry (15 minutes), Polk Parkway (10 minutes or less) and Downtown Lakeland (20 minutes depending on traffic.
Hopefully new owners will continue to offer vrbo, would definitely rebook for future visits.
The guest house in Lakeland was a perfect getaway from the cold winter month of January in the Midwest. We have family that lives only 10 minutes away, yet we felt like we were in the country. The home is nicely furnished, very comfortable and gated to make you feel safe. There's lots to do in the quaint downtown area and an outdoor mall in Lakeside Village only 15 minutes away. We visited Bok Tower Gardens in Lake Wales twice, went on the Frank Lloyd Wright walking tour at Florida Southern College which was amazing. If your looking for a great fast good place, try Zarza Latin Food & Grill on Cleveland Heights Blvd. If your looking for a good place to dine in, go to Nineteen61 on Main Street. Be sure to visit the swans at Lake Morton before you leave!
Communication was very good. The property and surrounding area felt very safe. Traffic was not a problem. We went to Coquina beach and Siesta Key beach, Google maps says their around an hour and a half away but traffic increases near the beaches so it's closer to 2-2 1/2 hours away, but both beaches were very nice with lots of parking. Contacting the owner was very easy and Megan was always quick to respond. If you're into hiking Circle B Bar Reserve was great, nearby and free. We saw several alligators there. Lakeland Highland Scrub was another hiking area that was nice and only a 5 minute drive from the house. I would recommend changing the carpets. Overall this was a very nice place. Thanks Megan.
This was a mix of good and bad for us. Very nice place but it needed a good cleaning. Quiet and secluded which was a plus but the bed was not comfortable. I had a backache every morning. The streaming channel selection on TV was good, but the buffering was bad. If you are not familiar with a Fire Stick and clearing its cache then you are in for some frustrating TV viewing. The price was great however and for that I was thankful. It allowed us to extend our visit a bit longer before returning to snow and ice back home.
We were very comfortable during our stay. There were a couple problems with a running toilet , stopped up sink, barking dogs, and outdated food left in the fridge/cabinet by previous guests. Also, we were not aware that the main residence is for sale and that contact with the owners would be difficult. The place was quiet, comfortable, and in a lively location. We felt that because it was for sale it wasn’t checked for cleanliness/ problems quite often enough by the owners.

Why they chose this property
Lakeland is our favorite place in FL because of its location and it's up and coming dining and arts scene. Centrally located right between two big cities, Orlando & Tampa, Lakeland is a perfect destination to be 'close to everything and away from it all'.
What makes this property unique
What sets Lakeland Manor apart from other local properties aside from having there vibe of a boutique hotel, is the setting for sure. The house is close to everything yet it seems very secluded and private.
