About this property

This beautiful chalet is located in Ried-Mörel (1250 m), a small village just below Riederalp which is part of the Aletsch Arena ski resort. in the winter and for beautiful walks, mountain biking and other activities in the summer. The chalet was completely renovated in 2016 and can accommodate up to 6 people. It has 3 double bedrooms (1 with a bunk bed), 2 bathrooms with shower, bath and toilet, a large living room area with a fireplace and an adjoining, fully equipped, kitchen (induction hobs, dishwasher, oven and a nespresso coffee machine) . There is WiFi available, a TV (Swisscom), Netflix and a DVD player.
Outside is a large balcony with sun loungers, a dining table and a bbq.
The entire house is at your disposal, except the attic. Immediately next to the house is a free parking space and another one 5 minutes' walk away. The rental price includes the use of WiFi as well as electricity and water. The price does not include the tourist tax, cleaning costs and bed linen. Towels and kitchen towels are available.

Schönes Chalet

Sicherlich eine der besten Unterkünfte, die wir bisher in der Schweiz hatten. Schönes Chalet, liebevoll und gut ausgestattet. Kleiner Ort auf halber Höhe zur RiederalpLiftstation und Lebensmittelgeschäft in LaufweiteAnfahrt mit dem Auto etwas abenteuerlich, wer sich auf das Abenteuer einlässt, findet wie gesagt eine schöne Wohnung vor. Tip: wer ein romantisches Feuer im Kamin will, bringt das Holz am besten gleich aus dem Tal mit, Kauf im Dorf nicht möglich

Stay at Chalet Vagabond Ried Morel

A lovely cosy timber chalet well equiped with good space and facilities. Excellent views half way up the alp over the mountains. Cable car lift to the top only 500m away. Excellent restaurants in the area. Small shop nearby 400m sells most things. Very responsive owner. We had great weather too! Lovely holiday August 2023.

Wonderful accomodation and communication

We had a wonderful stay here - the location is amazing with wonderful views up the valley, and the quality and facilities of the property was perfect. Dorine was a perfect host and was always very responsive to messages, being very helpful when we were booking, and then again being very engaged and supportive when we had to move out due to a local forest fire. Could not recommend more highly.

Wunderschönes Chalet

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft sehr genossen. Das Haus bietet eine komplette, sehr hilfreiche, moderne und saubere Ausstattung. Es hat nichts gefehlt. Das Haus ist in einer ruhigen Gegend, der Check in war sehr einfach. Fazit: Eine empfehlenswerte Unterkunft. Ich empfehle dieses Haus weiter.

Ski Ferien

Wir fühlten uns alle sehr wohl im gemütlichen und erstaunlich geräumigen Wohn-, Essbereich. Küchenutensilien, Geschirr etc ist alles im Überfluss vorhanden.Obschon ich einen sehr leichten Schlaf habe, ließ mich das feine Kirchengeläut nicht aufwecken. Dank des Skiraumes direkt an der Gondel ist auch der Weg dahin problemlos in 5min zu Fuß machbar. Ebenso zu Fuss lässt sich im Dorfladen alles für ein leckeres Essen kaufen. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war perfekt, hilfreich und unkompliziert.

Tolles kleines Chalet

Das Chalet ist klein und fein. Hat unten drei Schlafzimmer und ein Bad mit Wanne/Dusche, oben ein WC mit Dusche und ein Wohnzimmer mit angrenzender Küche und Balkon. Der Parkplatz befindet sich direkt beim Chalet. Es ist gut ausgestattet und in der Küche ist auch alles vorhanden, was man braucht. WLAN und Netflix konnten wir auch benutzen. Wir waren mit drei Kindern eine Woche da in den Skiferien und es war wirklich super. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Sehr empfehlenswert!

Wir (3 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder) haben die Neujahrswoche 2023 in dem gemütlichen Chalet verbracht. Das Ambiente hat uns noch viel besser gefallen als auf den Fotos. Es ist ein gelungener Mix aus traditionellen und modernen/ zeitlosen Elementen mit viel Gemütlichkeit und Charme. Alle haben sich sofort wohlgefühlt! Die Küche ist modern und sehr gut ausgestattet. Zum Chalet gibt es auch im Winter eine direkte Zufahrt. Zudem sind 2 Parkplätze vorhanden. Das Skigebiet und die Skischule sind relativ unkompliziert zu erreichen. Zu Fuss sind es 5 - 10 min zur Mittelstation der Gondelbahn zur Riederalp. Sowohl auf der Mittelstation als auch auf der Riederalp gibt es je einen öffentlichen Skiraum. Dorine ist als Gastgeberin nur zu empfehlen. Der Kontakt zu ihr war immer sehr hilfsbereit und positiv. Auch als leider ein Schaden durch uns im Chalet entstanden ist, hat sie sich sehr verständlich und grosszügig gezeigt. Wir werden sehr gerne wiederkommen.

Chalet agréable, extrêmement bien équipé, accueillant.

Idéalement situé pour visiter la région. Avons pu laisser la voiture et faire toutes nos balades en prenant les transports de la région. Contact simple, rapide et toujours agréable avec les propriétaires. Chalet très confortable, avec ce qu'il faut pour passer un bon séjour !

Knusse vakantiewoning met alles erop en eraan!

Super chalet! Gezellig ingericht, alles wat je nodig hebt, is er! Goede bedden. Mooi uitzicht! Mooie plek voor een heerlijke wintersportvakantie!

Niet weer!

Mooie locatie, rustig dorpje en mooi uitzicht. Huiselijk en gezellig ingericht, maar voor 6 personen vonden wij het echter wel wat krap. Sanitaire ruimtes erg krap. Weinig kastruimte, erg rommelig in de kastjes en laden. Bij aankomst muf en stoffig. Ter plekke geen contactpersoon voor vragen/problemen. Communicatie eigenaar traag en onvolledig. Tweede parkeerplaats eerst niet te vinden; bleek andere naam te hebben. En als de adv. aangeeft 'handdoeken beschikbaar', nemen we zelf geen handdoeken mee. Dit bleek slechts 1(!) handdoek p.p. te zijn...voor 2 weken, bij 35 graden... Reactie eigenaar: jullie kunnen ze toch wassen?! Ja, op eigen kosten dus. Wij verstaan onder 'handdoeken beschikbaar' toch echt iets anders. Leuke buurman die sproeier met grondwater (incl. steengruis) boven onze auto aanzet; helemaal wit opgedroogd bij thuiskomst en als souvenir allemaal krasjes na het wassen... Als 'toetje' ruim een week na vertrek nog een mail dat we in de badkamer iets kapot gemaakt zouden hebben...???!!! Totaal geen herkenning hier. Woning was ondertussen alweer verhuurd geweest. Gevraagd om foto's, bewijsmateriaal, opheldering...maar geen enkele reactie meer. Heel vreemd: eerst beschuldiging, dreigen de borg in te houden en dan vervolgens niks meer laten horen. Helaas....prachtig plekje, maar voor ons beslist geen tweede keer!

Super Haus in super Wandergebiet

Wir fanden ein sehr schön renoviertes, schön eingerichtetes, komplett ausgestattetes Chalet vor, in dem wir uns wie zu Hause gefühlt haben. Man merkt, dass es auch von den Vermietern genutzt wird. Es ist alles da was man braucht und alles praktisch durchdacht. WLAN hat super funktioniert. (für EU Bürger (mit Teenager) nicht ganz unwichtig). Sonst eine herrliches Fleckchen da für Wanderurlaub. Die Bahn ist nicht weit und mit dem Wanderpass kann man das ganze Aletschgebiet erkunden. Der Einkaufsladen hat alles was man braucht. Das Auto hatte eine Woche Pause. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Fam. Illmann
